SPURLOCK PLUMBING

I needed plumbing work today, and based on a previous satisfactory service I called them again. First call placed at 9 a.m., received and quot;I'm either away from my desk on on another calland quot; message. Left a message. Received no return call. Repeat experience at 10 a.m. Repeat experience at 11 a.m. Repeat experience at 12:30 p.m. Gave up. Will try another Angie's List plumber.

Spurlock finally returned my call ab out 3 p.m. I told them I had already arranged for another plumber.

My wife handled this. She said replacing the sink drain seemed to take a while but the plumber stayed with it until it was done. We have zero complaints and everything still works well. No leaks.

I chose Spurlock based on its Angie's List. They called the day before the appointment to remind me, then called the day of the appointment to let me know the plumber was on his way. Tim, the plumber, and his helper were courteous and competent. They completed the sink installation with precision, and accepted the Spurlock Angie's List discount coupon.

Tim was a professional to the core. He is clean, prompt, likeable, explains everything clearly ("You need a new tub, but if that isn't in the budget right now, you can do x"), doesn't overcharge for parts, and is very, very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any plumbing job.

It was terrible. They were here seven hours. They broke two of the faucets one of which they never told me about. They had water leaking into my formal living room on the lower level of my home. Until I started yelling they just, were watching the water spray under the cabinet. The faucets in the guest bath upstairs were left without the decorative pop in’s so now each handle has a small hole in it. They took the boxes with them, so I could not go behind them to correct. The third faucet installed was in the powder room downstairs, we thought everything was fine there until two weeks later when we had several guests. They broke this faucet also so every time someone turned it on to wash their hands it leaked down into the cabinet. By the time anyone realized what was happening everything under the cabinet was ruined, and in addition the sheetrock was wet. This was a disaster from start to finish.

I was quite happy with their service. They were on time and they got here very quickly.

Showed up ahead of schedule. Tim and his assistant worked quickly and very efficient to complete the job. Very satisfied with all aspects of the work and the company. Use these guys, you want be sorry.

Went very well. They were quick to diagnose the problems and did the repairs quickly and efficiently. They then cleaned up after themselves before leaving.

Originally I was told that they would be here by 2pm. I did get a call at 1:30 saying that the plumber was behind, however, the women could not give me an estimate of when they would show up. She did call back at 3, saying she had not heard from him so it probably would not be that day. (that was wed.) we agreed to reschedule for first appointment ("I will have him there at 8 am on friday, I promise) on Friday. There was a message on my phone that he would be there after 2:30 on Friday (this was Friday morning when I was waiting for him). I called and the women said OH SORRY I can have him there first thing tomorrow. I am having holiday guests and needed this plumbing done today so I called another plumber. I don't know how many people work at this company but it seems to be just one person and they really let me down. I would not recommend.

Our kitchen drain was clogged and I was not able to open it. When I called, the phone was not anwered with a business type identification so I had to ask if I had Spurlock Plumbing. The rest of the experience was professional and courteous. I had called first thing in the morning but they were not able to handle it that same day. They explained it to me and said they could be at our house between 8:30 and 9:30 the next morning. I said that would be OK. Mr Spurlock arrived at 8:45. I told him the problem and what I had done and that the blockage was about 15 feet down the drain. He snaked out the drain for about 45 feet to make sure it was clean. The entire process did not take very long but was handle professionally. He took a Angie's List coupon which saved us $25.

He was good. It was a small job and he completed the work in just 15 minutes. I was a little unhappy about his price as I thought the price was high. Maybe it was his minimum charge but in my opinion, his price should have been less than $50.00, even if it was the minimum charge, for the work he did. I don't know what time he was supposed to come but he came first thing in the morning. He was here at 9 o'clock. We have used him before. Someone had messed up a job and he corrected it. We know he does a good job.

I had a busted water pipe outside that was located under a tree. I had to turn off my water so the situation was an emergency. Tim came out the same day and gave me a estimate to fix the pipe and said that if he had to remove the tree, he would take care of that as well. I had to go out of town so was not there when they made the repairs and it rained over the next 3-4 days so they couldn't make the repairs. They kept in touch with me with updates on the repair and were able to complete everything before I returned, including taking the tree out. Their quote was considerably less than another one I had received. Also, they definitely reduced the stress of dealing with this situation while I was out of town and made sure I had water when I returned.

They were really good. The price was a little high. I rate them high overall.

Mr. Spurlock is a professional plumber. Personally, I think plumber fees are too expensive, but his rates are competitive. We highly recommend Spurlock Plumbing.

Omar did a great job! Have had two other Plumbers out previously and neither of them did the job correctly.

Job went very well overall. Plumber and helper showed up on time. Both were very courteous. Master plumber was very competent and articulate and communicated his plan and estimate very clearly. Work was performed quickly, effectively and safely. All work was done in a professional manner. Price was reasonable and fair. Overall - very satisfied. Got their name from Angie's List.

Their receptionist was very nice and told me they could come the day I called (Saturday). Within a few hours they were at my home and installed the new faucet. Both gentlemen were very nice and helpful and the lead plumber seemed to know exactly what he was doing.

Excellent. Called Spurlock with several questions and received very friendly service from the lady on the phone. I called several times with questions and before the job she answered them very efficiently and friendly. I was given a quote over the phone and scheduled the appointment. They came in 2 days from the call and called me in advance to remind me of the appointment, again very professional. Tim and Omar showed promptly for the appointment and looked at the water heaters. Tim confirmed our suspicions and said that there may be an additional charge if they needed to do welding for a refit. He also gave a detailed description of what needed to be done. Both he and Omar were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They left and came back within an hour with the water heaters. They replaced the heaters, Tim explained in detail what was done and left. We were very impressed with the entire process and with the work and communication from Spurlock Plumbing.

The plumber came on time within the hour promised, was courteous, and did a good job and told me it was fine now. I checked it also and it was good. Seems like they're very reliable and courteous.

The water heater that they put in our house has worked just fine without any problems with it leaking or anything. The plumber was able to get the water heater installed in just two hours. He also explained to me in detail everything he was going to do before he started.

SPURLOCK PLUMBING WAS CALLED OUT BY OUR HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. THEY TOLD OUR COMPANY THAT THEY WOULD BE AT OUR HOME ON THAT DAY. THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE AT 7:30 PM, APOLOGIZED FOR BEING SO LATE, BUT THEY WERE ON ANOTHER CALL, BUT THEY HAD GUARANTEED THEY WOULD DO THE WORK THAT DAY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS.
