SOUTH TEXAS SIDING

Bobby was excited to bid on our job as it gave him a chance to restore the siding of our 1930's home to it's original character. Is bid came in very competitive and he pointed me to some other houses where he did work that look great. This was a big job and Bobby's crew, lead by Domingo, worked on my house for nearly 3 weeks. They did such an excellent job of restoring the original wood to the 1930's look that it was hard to believe the makeover. Because of this great work and focus on detail we also had them restore our front porch and we had them install drywall for the ceiling in our living room.
Their main focus seems to be siding but we hope to use them again for the drywall work we need done in our other rooms.

Not happy with the results. Most of the treads are now bowing upward and peeling off the supporting structure. Treads were nailed instead of screwed and nails are starting to pop up. The treads are starting to split. He should have used screws and there was something grossly wrong with quality of the wood, or perhaps it was saturated with water when installed. I called shortly after installation because 2 or more of the treads were already splitting due to the nails; he did replace those quickly.
I will be calling them for either a partial refund or repairs.

Estimate was great! I chose another company in the end so I cannot comment on the work done.

They did a good job on the siding but a lousy job on the roof. I was supposed to get a certificate for my wind storm insurance and he didn’t get one for me until I turned him in to the Better Business Bureau. He’s a good ole boy but it’s a one man show so it can be hard to get him to do anything.
