Seemed fine, the repairs went quickly and have held up well. But had the chimney& roof looked at about 2 years later and the repairs did not hold up well. The ridge vents had collapsed and found numerous problems with the shingle repairs. Had to have the entire roof replaced including all of the repairs less than 2 years later. The person hired to do roof inspection commented that the repairs had been done badly and that the roof was not very secure and barely waterproof.

"If the HomeOwner had an issue, he could have called me and I would have been glad to check any problems out. If the ridge vents had collapsed , then that is a manufactures defect not my companies workmanship and I would have gone to bat against the manufactureer and got everything covered for free. The roof was already in bad shape and really needed to be recovered, but the homeowner chose to patch instead of replace. Again if there was ANY LEAKS ect all he had to do is call. I stand behind everything I do and have 100's of customers and Real Estate agents that I do multiple jobs for that have NEVER had a warranty calls , but know I'm a phone call away if ever an issue were to arise."

Hurricane Ike left me without a chimney and some roof damage. I called Smith and had them do an estimate which I received on Friday. They started on Monday and worked quickly. He took no down payment and only took payment when things done to my satisfaction. I had ongoing hassles with my insurance company over parts of the estimate and he was willing to restate and clarify the estimate several times to meet their needs. He did this even after the work was done and he was paid. I was not satisfied with a part of the chimney and they came back and addressed my issues right away. The chimney that they did was significantly stronger and better looking than the old one.

This company was very responsive, professional, and prompt. They did exactly what they said they would and on time. I don't mind paying more for good quality and that is what you'll get with this company.
