They never showed up for the scheduled appointment. I left a message for them and they never returned my message. I had to call several times to reschedule. The repair was fine; however, they charged an excessive amount of labor ($325) for a 30 minute job. I called to dispute the charges and was told I would receive a return call from the management; however, they never called AND THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I guess they still had my credit card from a previous repair years ago. THIS IS A VERY DISHONEST COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!

We were thrilled that he was able to repair the Sub Zero Freezer, saving  us an enormous amount of money
which we would otherwise have had to spend to replace it and its matching Refrigerator..  Luckily both Sub Zeros are still functioning well.
I have always found Richard's work to be exceptional.  He is pleasant, protective of our floor, punctual, and the best serviceman I know.

The technician determined it was due to the cleaning product I was using and told me what to use instead. He was also very informative about what other things helped it do a good job.

Part repaired first time under warrantee but still had to pay for service call the second time even though part was faulty. They did a good job regardless.

This would have been the second time to use Seasonal Comfort. In Spring 2013, we needed a repair to our Miele dryer, so we contacted Miele Customer Service and a ticket was opened and assigned to Seasonal Comfort. (We were unfamiliar with them, but as an approved repair-er for Miele assumed all was well.)
The first visit by the representative was to determine the problem. It took two or three reschedules because folks called in sick. The part also had to be ordered, which takes about a week. It was several weeks before the dryer was repaired.
This issue was resolved and the technician did a nice job. There was a lot of grace for the scheduling issues this first time around - everyone gets sick.
We were unaware of the reputation of Seasonal Comfort in our area (not very good). Without researching, we just called them again when our dryer wasn't working in September of 2013. It took ten days for the technician to be scheduled to come and diagnose the problem. The day of the appointment we received a call that someone had called in sick and we needed to be rescheduled. Yes, here we go again!
Our schedule was already full and no immediate options could be worked out. Eventually, it was decided the technician would come the next day at 7:00 AM. Fine! Diagnosis: we needed a new fan, but it had to be ordered and technicians don't have pricing information. One has to wait for the main office to call with a quote.
Our quote was $370. Including more than $150 for a trip charge, $150 for technician's time, and $54 (give or take) for the actual fan. Effectively seven times the price of the part for the repair!
When I telephoned Seasonal Comfort to get the quote that afternoon, the person with whom I spoke was very nice. She is the same person who assisted us last Spring. It is difficult to determine who is managing customer service and accountability. I get the sense that those on the front line are not the ones at fault. In the course of our discussion, she actually said that scheduling is very hard. That folks calling in sick is a regular occurrence and it makes it very hard to get things done.
In fairness, when the technicians have been at our house they seem educated in their work and professional. We can't really figure out what the problem is.
We called Miele to inform them about our concerns. They now have factory technicians in the area and they are coming to do the repair, the fan is being included for free to compensate for the unsatisfying vendor experience, and the quote is only $190. Even with the part, the total would only be about $250.

I have used Seasonal Comfort for close to 20 years. I am always impressed with their level of expertise and professionalism. This time, we did get off to a bad start with a new technician who misdiagnosed my issue with the oven but SC came through like a knight in shining armor and sent two of their very best to rectify the situation. They really do a wonderful job. It is a slow process- from the first phone call to having working appliance is always going to be at least 10 days- but that's what we get for having high end appliances. Thankfully mine don't break down very often!!!

I called on a Monday and they scheduled me for Wednesday. Jermaine came out at the scheduled time and took about 30 seconds to diagnose the problem. He had the replacement part on the truck, so I did not have to wait for one to be ordered. Start to finish, a great experience. I will call this company again.

I initially had a bad experience with Seasonal Comforts. As it turns out, I had a technician who was anxious to be off to another city and job, so he did not give this job the proper service. Today, Richard came out and the level of professionalism and expertise was evident right away. He quickly located the source of the gas smell, and explained what he had to do in order to fix the problem. Within 10 or 15 minutes he had replaced the faulty parts, at no charge. He apologized for my inconvenience and assured me that the former employee's behavior was not typical for this company. After seeing how Richard handled the call, I believe this. I will definitely use this company again.

Before the serviceman walked into the kitchen he told me what he thought was wrong with the dishwasher based on my description and he was absolutely right and didn't need to pull out the dishwasher. He was fast, clean and efficient. I was so happy. I called them to come fix my Maytag dryer. Scheduling can be difficult because they are really busy.

I asked in two separate phone calls to the companies office to have the service technician that did the estimate to call me so I could ask questions since I was not home at the time of the service call and resulting estimate. I did not get a phone call from the service technician that I am aware of, which is frustrating since we used Seasonal Comfort a year ago and everything went fine at that time.

They repaired my Marvel wine cooler more than once. I especially like the way they communicate directly with the manufacturers of the appliances to get the most recent information about repairs. Because of their connection to Marvel, I was able to negotiate a new wine fridge because it was under warranty.

Had to wait weeks for an appointment and on the day of my appointment nobody ever called or showed up, even though the appointment was confirmed the day before. Had to contact the manufacturer to scheule a different company out to repair my appliance because Seasonal Comfort did not have an after hours option. I would not have left work early to come home if I had just received a phone call alerting me of this.

We have used them for several things over the years. They are very good, particularly Harry. They are very busy and can sometimes take a few weeks to get an appointment. They are also a bit pricey, but are definitely worth it.

It's the only authorized Viking repair company. They also do multi high-end appliances. They are fabulous. I have had two or three big problems and they have taken care of them very well. They took care of me when I lost all of my appliances in that huge hurricane in 2008. They are really good. When they say they will be here at 2 o'clock they come at 2 o'clock. I think they are just terrific.

A comedy of errors. Waiting days for anything to happen was the norm throughout this process. I had to call their office to keep them moving with respect to the parts orders. On the day of the actual service, the tech was supposed to be here between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. he got here at 9:45 AM. Then he sat in my driveway talking on the phone for 15 minutes. So we started at 10:00 AM. He broke one of his tools and did nto have a backup. He was gone for about two hours finding a replacement. Please note that i was the one that had to try and find a company to seel him the replacement tool. Not exactly what I had planned doing today. In the meantime, no one told me to address the freezer portion of the unit. A two hour repair job was quickly approaching a six hour job. I had no status from the tech on his finding the tools with which to complete the job. I had to call his office to find out where he was at. He finally left at 4:45 PM. I will now go find out what I can save from the freezer and what I have to throw out.

It went badly. The first service calls did not resolve the problem, and the service man did not listen to our complaint or check the refrigerator. When we called for a return service call, the company told us it would be 10 days later. They said the same serviceman had to be the one to come out, and they would not send another person. When the same serviceman came out, he said the compressor was no longer functioning, and SubZero no longer made that compressor. That was not true, we found, upon calling SubZero. We had to call another service company to come out and resolve the problem. Seasonal Comfort's service man was inept, lied about the compressor, and cost us many days of inconvenience. The Seasonal Comfort policy of not sending another serviceman and delaying the second service call was clearly due to the fact that this visit was to be covered by their 90 day warranty.

I booked an appointment a week in advance for a troubling noise coming from the refrigerator. I'm afraid that at any moment it's going to give out, causing me to lose all my food, and I wasn't pleased to have to wait a week in the first place. Then, on the day/time slot of the appointment, NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED to say they weren't coming. I had rearranged my day to be there. I had to track THEM down to find out that I'd been bumped! When I explained the urgency of the problem and the fact that they had rudely bumped me, I still couldn't get an appointment for another few days, and it took several phone calls on my end to even get that information. Joined Angie's List today to find someone else!

This service was performed through a 3rd party extended warranty company. The warranty company was horrible, their procedures require that the tech, go back to his office, file a fax report and wait for an approval. SO, even though he was standing there, in my kitchen with the parts in hand, he couldn't fix the washer. It had taken a week to get the initial visit. Then another week to get the warranty co. to okay the repair, then another week to get another appt. So 3 weeks with no washer! This wasn't really the fault of Seasonal Comfort. I totally blame the warranty co. (which I will review separately.) It did end up costing me a lot less, but I would have rather paid the full amount then have to wait an additional 2 weeks. (Plus, I had to call the warranty co. several times and get ugly on the phone just to get them to do what they should have done without that. Not fun.)
