Description of Work: I first used Saldana Tree Service in August 2010. They cut down aprox. four large dangerous trees over a house I purchased without incident. They were reasonable and insured. I have used them many times since then, the last time in Aug 2013.

+ -1 moreMr. Saldana was very responsive to my request for an estimate. He and his crew trimmed two live oaks in the front of our property and an Ash tree in the back. He thinned the trees without leaving them bear. All cuts were clean to the branch. I gave him a B for price because he was a bit more than other quotes I received, but his professionalism was top notch.

Description of Work: They were hired to cut down a tree and stump grind. They did not move lawn furniture and plants resulting in damages. They cut the tree down the first day leaving significant debris in the yard. They did not return to stump grind. It took them 3 weeks to complete then job. I had to continue to call them to return for the stump grinding. The stump grinding ended up damaging the fence and of course they did not notify me of the damage. I discovered it later. It was absolutely a terrible experience.

His crew took a number of very large and high branches from a tree, then stacked them at the curb for heavy trash so my elderly father would not have to pay the extra cost of hauling and disposing of the limbs. My father was pleased with the service, and while the crew were at my father's, a neighbor who was watching them work also hired them.
Description of Work: Cut large branches off a tree that were hanging over my house.

+ -1 moreI had used Saldana previously at our rental house and was pleased with his crews' performance. I called for an estimate, and he called me back a couple days later after having driven by the house to see the trees. He told me they would do the trimming within the week, which they did. I did not get a call on the day they came to trim the trees and that would have been appreciated.
Description of Work: A crew of three men did a thorough pruning of two 20 year old oak trees in my front yard. One man was in each tree and one man was on the ground carrying the cuttings to their trailer. Start to finish took approximately two hours.

+ 1 moreMr Saldana has taken care of my large liveoak trees for many years. I credit his professional knowledge of tree-trimming with never losing a tree in a hurricane. He is polite and punctual; his prices are excellent and his quality cannot be matched. He also is fastidious in using the proper safety gear. He does complete cleanup on the same day. It is worth every penny to have him ensure that my trees remain beautiful all year, even after hurricane season!
Description of Work: Three large liveoak trees trimmed: to not hang downward, to not touch the roof, to remove "suckers." Large camphor tree trimmed. Waxleaf ligustrums trimmed and shaped as shade trees. Wild wisteria vines dug up and completely removed. Beds cleaned and trimmed. All cut branches, etc. removed from worksite the same day. Yard raked of remaining leaves.

+ -1 moreMr. Saldana's bid was the least expensive, but I gave the work to a company that I felt had a better plan for pruning the front yard tree.
Description of Work: Mr. Saldana came promptly to give me a price for removing one large oak tree in the side yard and trimming a large oak in the front.
