I have used more than one Safelite. They came out of two different locations. I called one number, but they gave me different people to come. My insurance covered it, and I just paid the deductible. The price was fine, I just paid my deductible.

"Fixed it" but before he did he told me it might not get rid of all of the cracks. And it did not. So the window is stronger because of the epoxy but the dint is still noticeable. I expected that the blemish would disappear. For all of this, I could have gone with a less expensive vendor

BE CAREFUL!! They came out and fixed a chip on my Tahoe's windshield.  When they left the tech told me that they had confirmed with my insurance company and that the fee was taken care of. Subsequently there was a dispute of sorts between Safelite and my insurance company (unbeknownst to me) which left a small balance. Instead of calling/texting/emailing or trying to get in touch with me in any way they pretty immediately reported me directly to a collections agency (a first for me) which called me and very disrespectfully asked for payment. Since I'm not comfortable giving my credit card information to random people who call me I instead said that I would call Safelite right away and take care of the balance (slightly irked at this point but, hey, these things happen). I call Safelite (and sit on hold), get passed between departments (and sit on hold) only to be told that they couldn't help (skeptical) and that I needed to call the collections agency (anger rising). I agreed and called the agency (sit on hold). Passed between (rude) people (sit on hold) and finally find out that now I have to pay a "convenience fee" to the agency (a very poor choice of words given that I don't feel convenienced in any way at this point). They also could not confirm or deny whether or not my credit will be affected so I'll be spending the next few months checking my credit report. Thanks Safelite!
