This one of the worst companies I have had the displeasure doing business with. Came and installed a new AC system on my home. The first day after the install and the technicians left, I could not get the AC fan to stop running. I discovered that the technician had disconnected the fan wire from the back of the thermostat. I was able to reattach the wire and fix the problem. Three days later my new AC was not cooling. Called them early on Friday morning AM and they said they would send a technician out on Monday. For four days my wife sat in a house that got up to 80 degrees and my new AC unit would run from 2:00PM until 9:00PM non-stop because it could not cool down the house. The technician came out on Monday and determined that the install crew was going to have to come out and do a fresh install because he could not get the temperature of the Plenum from 63 degrees down to 59 degrees as was required for the system to run efficiently. It is Tuesday and I was told the crew would be to my house in the afternoon. It is 2:15 PM and I am still waiting. It also concerns me that no supervisor has called me to say that they are so sorry that my wife and I have had to live in a home where the temperature is 80 degrees and that they will make sure that this situation will be remedied quickly. Stay away from this company.....

SA Specialties were nothing short of fantastic. We installed two new AC systems with them, in 2013 and 2014. This year, one of the blower motors failed. I called the office, they sent the tech who diagnosed the problem. The motor had to be ordered, and which came in overnight and the next day we had it installed. Net additional cost: $0. Thanks for being a stand up business, SA Specialties and performing so exceptionally on the 10 year parts and labor warranty you provided on the AC systems you installed for us.

The crew completed all the work during one long, full day. The system is working extremely well and our utility bill has been reduced by more than 50%. I could not be more pleased.

I wasn't here so I wasn't able to tell them anything.

The service has been good. I don't like the air conditioning unit. It is too noisy. I have been meaning to call them and tell me that there may be a problem with the unit. They do not know that yet. I have not yet called them about it. The unit is  right outside my computer room which is a bedroom. When it shuts off, it is a real loud noise. I have not have time to call them yet. It was not cheap but it is cheaper than everyone else. I would use them again. Now I will have to find out about what to do with the noisy unit. If they say we can not do anything about it, then I will have to reconsider. But like I said, they do not know about this complaint until I call and complain.

Extremely well. Service guy came out and went over the options, explained very well the difference between our existing configuration, and a two-stage unit. No pushy sales, they honored their list price (advertise in Houston Chronicle). The office called before coming out, the installers were on-time, polite, professional and we have been totally pleased with the new unit and happy with the installation.

They gave me the best price. They were professional and checked out their reviews and they had good reviews. They were clean and got their work done fairly quickly.

They were good. They did what they say they were going to do. They did it when they said they were going to do it. They were good. The price was ok. I paid what they said I should pay. They came when they said they were going to come. They did the work that they said they were going to do. When it didn't work out one hundred percent, they came back and fixed it. They did fine.

Well. just took longer than expected but done well.

Technician made no measurements but looked at outside unit, felt a few areas and said it needed 4-5 pounds of Freon. I stated it then must have a leak. He stated yes but he would put in a Freon 22 with stop leak additive that he said seemed to do the job for another person or two. However he did not have the Freon with him and would have to come back another day. He stated at least twice, that working off the clock, meaning in his opinion and not within company policy he would not leak test the system. I was unsure on whether I should go with company advice or the tech's personal opinion. I eventually declined and ended up paying $50 for a tech who only looked at the system and passed his hand over the fan. He also said the Freon would cost $120/lb or $480-$500 without labor cost and no guarantee the added Freon would not just leak out again.

The thing that I appreciate is they keep their appointment times. They are very punctual. They are always very pleasant and professional. They always wear shoe covers.

They have a coupon special and for $125 you get the spring and fall checkups. It is $125 a year. You cannot beat their price. They make an appointment and they give you like a two hour window when they will be here and they are always here within that two hour window. They call you when they are on their way. They are quick, efficient, and clean when they are here. So, it only takes about 20 minutes.

There were four people who came and completed the work. It took them all day to do it. It was like an eight-hour job. I live in an old house so this was not an easy job. When you are replacing your furnace and AC, they bring in really big things into your house. They were very conscientious about not banging into walls or creating any other damage. They were very clean. When they were inside, they were wearing shoe covers and they covered the floor. There was one part of my air conditioner that was only a couple of years old, but my neighbor who has rental houses wanted it because it was only a couple years old. They carried it over to her house for her. They were very accommodating.

Typically, most of their work is replacing entire systems. The prices are great. They arrived when they were supposed to arrived. They told me what was going on. They cleaned up after they were finished.
