I had used Rock Fin seven years earlier, for my kitchen remodel, and was extremely pleased with both the price and quality of the job. I also recommended them to many of my neighbors who also were quite pleased too. My next door neighbor had gotten a quote at a cheap price per square foot from another granite company, but they had exaggerated the square footage telling her she had 120 sq feet. I measured closer to 80. I told her to call Rock Fin even though they charged more per square foot then the other company. Rockfin came out and measure and they charged her for only 77 sq ft, and she saved hundreds of dollars. She was glad she had gone with Rock Fin and her kitchen looked fantastic. They came out and installed the granite tops and as usual, it was a premium job at bargain prices. I don't think you can go wrong using Rock Fin, I usually talk with Raj, and he was very professional and won't disappoint you.

The work was excellent. For one of the countertops they discovered that the remnant I picked wasn't large enough and I didn't find out until I called regarding the delivery date. I went back to the yard and picked another remnant the same day but it postponed the job for several days because they didn't call me as soon as they found out the first remnant wasn't large enough.

This has been a mixed bag. We chose Rock Fin because they gave us a great price for some fairly pricey granite (black galaxy). Pre-sale service was great. Phone calls were prompt and questions were quickly answered. One thing you should know when you hire these guys is that minor damage to the walls is your responsibility to repair (we did). They did the work and we were very happy with it until we noticed that the corner of the kitchen island granite was cracked and patched to try and make the damage invisible. The problem is, when you pay for a premium product, this is not acceptable. We contacted and contacted Rock Fin about coming out to just evaluate the crack and got nowhere. The pre-sale responsiveness quickly disappeared. I put a stop payment through American Express and that got their attention. They came out and replaced the cracked piece. It took two and a half months from the date of the first installation to the time of replacement. At least its done.

This is the company that our contractor uses for fabrication. I chose upgrades to the all the edges. It was a bit more costly, but worth every penny. The kitchen and breakfast area are beautiful. The company did excellent work.
