 + -1 moreSandra was completely unresponsive to my phone calls. One of the best parenting specialists in Houston was helping me get settled in Houston, and the services I needed for my children. Sandra told her that "my nannies are not interested in working with children who have ADHD." This parenting specialist (who prefers for me not to use her name), was shocked, appalled, and said she had never heard this from a professional who actually knew children. Since this is the case, I would never, ever, recommend this agency to anyone as there is much discrimination, simply for a child having AHD. I feel like a newscaster on TV saying this, but "SHAME ON YOU!"
Description of Work: I was referred to Sandra from numerous friends who had used her, and had children so much more "challenging" than mine. My children are well behaved, so sweet, and wanting alot of love, yet also a structure and routine.

 + -1 moreSandra was wonderful to work with. Conscientious, prompt, communicative, trustworthy, reassuring. Her demeanor professional. Her background and reference information on each candidate was thorough and informative. All of the candidates that I interviewed were great choices, but one individual fit much better than the others. There is a 5 month guarantee on the candidate that I chose, i.e., if the relationship doesn't work out, but I doubt that I will find it necessary to utilize it. The candidate that I chose will, hopefully, be part of our household for years to come. Since references and background were of primary importance when considering a candidate (no matter what agency is used) and given the time, resources and effort expended by Sandra to locate, research, interview, gather references and background candidates, I felt the $575.00 contract fee was well worth it.
Description of Work: I was in need of a housekeeper to assist me with keeping my home in order due to work obligations. I contacted Sandra with RiverOaks Domestic Agency since this is the agency many of my clients have used over the years. She and I discussed my needs over the telephone. Over the next several days, Sandra gathered prospective candidates at her office, interviewed them and check their backgrounds and references. At that juncture, she contacted me. We set up a time/date for me to interview the candidates (that she fielded out) in her office. Each candidate was in her office waiting for me when I arrived. Sandra had documents ready with regards to information, references and background of each candidate. I was given the use of an office and privacy for each interview. Subsequent to my meeting with the candidates, I was rear ended and injured. I contacted Sandra to advise that I would have to put choosing a candidate off for a few weeks since I was injured. She placed the appropriate telephone calls to the candidates to advise them of the situation. Eight (8) weeks later, I called Sandra. So that I did not have to travel to her office again due to my recovering injuries (and since I had already paid her fee during the 1st visit), she forwarded the contact information of the candidates to me directly. I contacted them and arranged to meet each for coffee to re-interview each of them. I then decided who I thought would be the best first for our household.
