Restoration 1 of Central of Houston

We had work STARTED by this company 3 weeks ago. We found out they fired their entire field team on Friday morning 8/8/25 when no one showed up to finish the job. We were left with unserviced machines, tarp, trash, and unfinished work. We have MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS to contact them and cannot get anyone to call us back to resolve the situation. We HAD to hire another company and are still WAITING, 3 weeks later, for any form of communication from them. These photos are what this company left us to deal with. I would give them ZERO stars if it was an option. Do NOT hire this company!

Restoration1 is a fantastic group of people. I had major leak in my attic that destroyed my washroom, kitchen, and extended into dining and living room area. I must tip my hat to Grace as she was the gracefull and reassurance voice that talked me through this process. She took my call when I thought no one would right after Christmas and before new years holiday. Despite of her busy schedule Grace took the time she had available to address all ALL the concerns I had. Derrick was the first to arrive at my house. Derrick was very caring and understanding of the given situation. He never was alarmed with the magnitude of damage and made confident decisions on what needs to happen next. Wilson was an absolute awesome person. Like Derrick he showed much care. Wilson has a great sense of humor and made me feel like everything will be ok no matter what. Hamied and Fernando worked well in adjusting equipment for optimum performance and also was instrumental is helping me understand what the equipment is doing and why. Thank you guys as I have very good understanding of this process now. I can't say enough about Sergio. He is a class act. He is a God sent. I felt like he is a true and honest friend. Sergio was with me every step of the way. Sergio would always answer and return my calls. He made me feel very confident in the process. Because of Sergio excellent customer service and workmanship I must highly highly highly recommend this company for your needs when there are water damage to your house. I can't thank Sergio enough for his guidance, support, and a job well done in reconstruction.

I was immediately called soon after the inquiry. The company was responsive and ready to work with me. I ended up not needing the house serviced but appreciate the communication. Will have them on speed dial.

The team communicated extremely well - arrived on time for the initial consult, sent my quote the same day as promised, answered all my emails and texts, always asked what time to show up, called if they were going to be late. The quote they provided was the most detailed I had seen from the 10+ companies I contacted. They also had such great attitudes while working. The work I needed done was on the 3rd floor bedroom, and they had to hike up and down those stairs multiple times each day with all their equipment, and were glad to do it. They were always polite and even brought my delivered packages inside and upstairs each day they were working on my house! They were also very conscientious of us working from home and tried to decrease the noise as much as possible. After the work was done, I could not tell that huge sections of my wall and baseboards were replaced.

The team was there when specified. They pulled the wet ceiling and the wet insulation. All the wet surfaces were treated to prevent mold. The used a dehumidifier, fans, and a monitoring device to determine when everything was dry. Very professional and reassuring!

Very detailed and did a great job! Communicated very well. Had used a different restoration company for my first incident and never again. When my second incident occurred hired these guys and they did a great job ended up hiring them again for my third incident. These guys will stay on my to go list if needed.

I didn t need to have any remediation. This company is out to make money and shouldn t be trusted.

They were timely and efficient.

Jeremy arrived at our appointment on time and was very friendly and professional. He understood what I wanted done and provided a very fair and reasonable estimate. Hired him to start the next week. Even though my repairs were not an emergency and Houston was hit by major flooding the week his crew was to start, the job was completed in a timely manner and the work looks great.
