Let's just start by saying, make sure you have a written contract if you use these guys.  Reliant Roofing was referred to us by a contractor.  Scott and Mike verbally went over everything they were going to do with my wife and I.  We were happy with what they said, shook hands and made a deal.  The only problem, they did not stick to their word.  They removed  and replaced the rotten wood, and installed the Hydro-Stop according to plan, but that is it.  They splashed concrete on the iron railings and windows, they left unpainted bare metal showing at the base of two doors, and they did not slope the roof properly so water pools in various places.  The deck is so rough, you cannot walk on it with bare feet. When we voiced our concerns, numerous times, we were told they would make it right.  Well, it isn't right. I've had to repaint the iron rails, and use a razor blade on the windows. I have to sweep away pooling rain water every time it rains. We took pictures and showed them.  Initially they said all water should dissipate after 24 hours.  When it did not, a weak attempt was made at correcting the problem. I paid them the balance, and have never heard from them again.  My deck does not leak, but I still have to get out there and sweep the water off after every rain.  I don't know how I am going to fix the trim at the base of the doors.  We are not hard people to please, but when I pay someone to do a job, I expect it done correctly.
