PRIME TREES INC

They failed to clean up the jobsite leaving sawdust and sap all over the yard, sidewalk and street, gouged multiple deep holes in my yard, broke my sprinkler system in 2 places, and shattered a section of my sidewalk. Mr. Cordova with the city brought Mr. Scott Campbell from Prime Trees to see the damage on May 22. Mr. Campbell was nonchalant about the damage and offered me $100 to make the repairs. I told him that was ridiculous, and that in any case, I wanted my landscaping company to make the repairs, to insure it was done correctly. I told him I didn't trust anyone he'd send to do a better job than the tree crew he sent. I subsequently had the repairs done to the yard and sprinklers for a total of $517.53 and sent Mr. Campbell the invoices. I also sent a letter to Lance Bowe, the company owner. I will also have to replace 2 sections of sidewalk when the stump is ground, which will cost me $1350, and am asking that Prime Trees pay half that amount, for the section the broke. I received a check from Mr. Campbell in the amount of $150 with no further response from Mr. Bowe. I returned the check and am pursuing this matter in small claims court.
So far, I am out $517.53 for repairs.  I am asking Prime Trees for that amount, plus $675.00 to replace the broken section of sidewalk, for a total of $1192.53.

to follow up, i ended up having to file a suit in small claims court after numerous attempts to get this company to respond to me.  mediation was oct. 22, 2013.  at that time, prime trees agreed to pay me the full amount of $1192.53.  they had 30 days to do so.  they did not send me the money.  i was instructed by the court to send them a 10 day demand letter and on dec. 5, 2013, i finally received a check.

They were the only tree company who tried to save our huge ash tree. All others said the tree should be completely removed. They did a great job balancing the canopy and removing the dead wood. The tree is very healthy and thriving. My only frustration with them is that the owner said he'd come back and do a nutrient/mineral injection into the roots and, even after repeated calls, never returned.

Prime Trees is a very professional company with some very experienced workers. They kind of clean up as they go along. Whenever they are finished with one tree, they will clean up the mess before moving to the next tree. The price is pretty reasonable as well. I do not think the price is any higher than anyone else. I am overall very pleased with this service.
