The nurse said the hospital was wrong, they had it straightened out and she would send the order back through. I received a call that the order was received and the test could be scheduled. Yes, they said it had been authorized. I went to Methodist West for the test but it was not on the schedule and not authorized. It turned out the nurse had a free standing imaging center in another part of town schedule the test and I was never told by the nurse or the scheduler that it was not Methodist West. I am a nurse and an attorney I would never agree to a contrast medium for the first time in anything but a hospital based radiology department. My health, my choice. The test could not be done that day anyway because it was not authorized for Methodist West. They don't do authorizations the Doctor has to do that, the doctor's office never does that. The doctor's office manager assured me they have done 1000's of these. I would like to know how. No one has apologized, or even acknowledged what happened not even Dr. Pramudji. If you go to this doctor be your own healthcare advocate because in my experience no one in that office cares enough about patient care to do so. I have an appointment with a good board certified Renal specialist not affiliated with either Dr. Pramudji or Methodist system. Thank goodness a renal cyst most often benign an not a bigger problem.

The only reason I'm not using is because she moved out from my insurance company list and I couldn't afford her. She's very caring, she takes her time with you, she's very personable, she's thorough, she runs some comprehensive test to get to the bottom of my problem, and she's just excellent neurologist. I've never had one that I liked any more than she, in fact, I've never had one as well as I liked her. Her staff was excellent too but she has moved, she was in with a group of other doctors--she was the only female neurologist in the group as I recall but she went into independent practice moving out from the insurance company I'm also in and I don't want to change insurance.

She is very busy that sometimes I have to wait for a while past your appointment time. But she is worth waiting for. That is the only complaint that I have.

She's just a wonderfully attentive and caring physician. She's really smart. She is very good about diagnostic discussions. She's one heck of a good surgeon. She got rid of some kidney stones. It takes four to six weeks to get an appointment.

She was very nice.
