Solved a number of little problems to make the job look great.  Very responsive to everything we needed done.

Perfect. They hung plastic to protect the rest of house. They were very neat and speedy. In and out in 3 days total.

Gabriel was very responsive and really knows what he's doing. He allowed me to work with his men on selecting where the cuts where going to be made. He was able to begin work soon after we called him.

Gabriel came out promptly after our call and measured the existing countertops. We selected several different granites from Lackstone on I-45 North (Houston) and Gabriel provided pricing for the different selections. After finalizing the granite selection, one of his workmen came back out for a final verification of the dimensions. The installation crew came out just over a week from the date we placed the order. The removal and installation work took one long day for the crew. A carpenter came out a couple of days later to add some trim under the countertop edges and another workman sealed the countertops. We had a plumber connect the new sink and install the sink hardware and had an electrician re-connect the cooktop. We absolutely love the new granite and have gotten many compliments on it. There is only one seam and it is almost undetectable. It was a delight to work with Gabriel and Gladys and to finish with such a beautiful job!

They did most of the cutting and polishing in their shop. On installation day, there were three workmen who did a perfect job. Working with natural stone is always expensive and there is very little room for error. I didn't find any errors and I'm a picky person. They finished in one day.

Working with Gabriel at Planet Granite was the best experience we've had with contract work. Gabriel and Gladys came out to take measurements quickly upon our request. We had a tight timeline to work with since we were having the work done after we purchased the home but before we moved in. We then went to a granite yard to view the colors available and selected key west gold for the kitchen and new venetian gold for the bathrooms. Gabriel had both colors at his fabrication shop already so we selected our specific slabs from his shop, along with our sinks and the finished edges. The crews that work for Gabriel are very professional, courteous and efficient. They took measures to minimize their mess and also cleaned up after themselves very well. It took only one day to install all of the granite. We also utilized Gabriel's crew for the installation of a backsplash (tumbled travertine that we purchased ourselves) and the plumbing work. The plumbing and travertine backsplash was finished on day two. A lot was accomplished in a two day period and the quality of work is excellent. After the work was done, Gabriel stopped by the next evening to inspect the work of his crew and ensure our needs were met. With all the stresses that come along with relocating your family, it was refreshing to have a pleasant experience with contract work.

Gabriel and Gladys came to my home to measure and put together an estimate. In order to complete the estimate I had to choose a granite and an edge. I went to their shop and chose one, but days later changed to another granite that I found at another company. I received the estimate and chose Planet Granite because of price, the Angie's List recommendations, and just a gut feeling that they knew what they were doing. From other companies there was one estimate that was slightly less and one that was about $700 more. Gabriel came out again and drew a template of our island (odd shape), then went to the other company and picked up the two slabs they were holding for me. Within a few days the granite was installed. It looks beautiful, you can barely see the seams.

Planet Granite has been one of the best contractors I have ever used. The boss man Gabriel has been very helpful. I went with him to Shenoy Stone and picked out my slabs. The vanity installers, countertop installers and backsplash guys have all been great. They have been very respectful and clean. The project took about 5 full days. Tear out of old countertops, install new bathroom vanities, install granite countertops and two days completing the backsplash. They even installed the granite countertops on a Sunday because I was very anxious to get it done. Their prices were reasonable compared to a couple other bids, but their professionalism and speed were far above anyone else.

Planet Granite & Marble returned my call quickly, and came around to give an estimate. Their prices were quite reasonable, and they were able to explain how they would take existing granite from another house, and cut it to fit the counter tops in this house. The installation was scheduled as soon as a day was available, and the installers were on time. They cut the granite to a perfect fit, and installed it on the kitchen, bath, and game room counter tops. There were places that were hard to get a hold of, but they did a wonderful job, and there are no seams showing. They cleaned up all the mess, and left the house in great shape.
