+ -1 moreTwo gents from Perez Plumbing came to my house to obtain info for an estimate on remodeling work. I asked if either of them was a licensed plumber and was told "no". They took some information, measurements... and I never heard from them again.

+ 0 moreIt was a very large job and they did an excellent job. I had several other estimates that were close to $9,000 and they did the job for $3,000.
Description of Work: They changed the whole drainage system from my home to the street.

+ -1 moreTHEY ARRIVED AT 3:00 PM, AN HOUR LATE. THE COMPANY OPERATOR CALLED AT 1:40 PM AND SAID WORKERS WOULD ARRIVE AT 2:00 PM AS PREVIOUSLY AGREED ON. I CALLED COMPANY AT 2:40 PM, THE OPERATOR CONTACTED THE WORKERS WHO TOLD HER THEY WERE LOST. OUR HOME IS EASY TO FIND. IN THIS AGE OF GOOGLE, IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THEY WERE LOST. THEY ASKED TO BORROW AN EXTENSION CORD WHEN THEY THOUGHT ONE WAS NEEDED. IT WASN'T, BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED. THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY OF THE WORKERS WAS POOR. MANUEL DID SPEAK ENGLISH, BUT VERY HALTINGLY AND NOT CONDUCIVE TO A GOOD DISCUSSION. I WROTE A CHECK, BUT HE DIDN'T HAVE AN INVOICE. HE SAID HE COULD COME BACK MONDAY. I DON'T LIKE BEING HELD HOSTAGE IN MY HOME BY SOMEONE (ESPECIALLY WHEN THEIR HISTORY OF BEING ON TIME ISN'T GOOD) SO I OFFERED TO DROP THE CHECK BY THE OFFICE WHICH WAS 20 MINUTES AWAY. HE SAID HE WOULD GO GET AN INVOICE. I ASKED HIM TO RETURN QUICKLY. HE RETURNED THREE HOURS LATER. BOTTOM LINE-THEY WEREN'T VERY PROFESSIONAL.
Description of Work: AFTER I HAD DETERMINED THAT THE SEWER PIPE WAS BACKED UP IN OUR BACK YARD (AND NOT IN THE HOUSE) PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL, THEY SNAKED THE LINE WHICH TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES. THEY SEEMED TO DO THEIR JOB QUICKLY THOUGH IF THEY WOULD HAVE NEEDED AN EXTENSION CORD, THEY DIDN'T COME WITH ONE.
