They were professional, courteous, and took pictures to show me what was needed for the chimney and why. I'm not too surprised, since this is a 40-year-old house and it has never had chimney maintenance. They offered to set up a date to do the work, but there was no pressure. Since the cost is pretty high for the repairs, though, I plan to get other bids before I move forward. In the meantime, Patterson put a square stepping stone over the top of the chimney opening so I would not have rain or critters falling in. That was nice. We just can't use the fireplace until we get this fixed.

They did an awesome job. They were polite, courteous and professional. I called them out because we were getting ready to sell the house and the buyers requested we have the chimney checked. We called them, they did the job. They inspected the chimney and said it didn't need cleaned but they said they could clean up your gas logs and we had them do it. I didn't feel like they needed improvement on anything, they did an excellent job. I would use them again in the future if needed.

Job was done on time and at first seemed well done. After they left we noticed a loud hiss from both fireplace pilot lights. Called Patterson they said it was normal. After a couple of days decided to call the manufacturer who told me how to make a simple adjustment . No more noise. We then noticed a gas smell and called them. Installer came out promptly and reported " not his problem". Likely the pipe has cracked call a plumber who tightened two connections on the install. No mor gas leak. Called Patterson and they said they were glad we were able to fix the leak. They will never work in our house again.

Very honest and honorable in their work.  Thought our "new" house might need the chimney cleaned, but they determined it was fine and did not charge the expected cleaning fee (only for the inspections and recommendations).  Would definitely recommend and use them again.

They did a great job. Not only did they fix the mortar issues but also were very thorough in finding the cause of the issues and resolving it. They were very clean and made sure to lay a protective tarp inside by the fireplace. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

It was an basically an inspection and he said I really didn't need anything but some normal maintenance. I was very pleased with him. He came in accordance with my schedule and I was pleased with that as well.

I was pleased with their service. They did a good job. They were very professional. They charged me $75 and it seemed a little steep to me, but it was the first time I had anybody come out and fix a fireplace. So I think that's the going rate. The quality of their work was good. I was quite satisfied with what they did. They got out within a couple of days after I called them. They also came on time. I would use their services in the future too.

We discovered that our chimney cap had blown off in hurricane Ike when we experienced significant water coming into the house from the chimney during a heavy rainstorm. We fixed this by having a new chimney cap installed (a high quality stainless steel) and the crown sealed as an additional precaution. We then had the chimney waterproofed with a product called "Chimney Saver" for additional protection. This company was very responsive to our needs. Work was done over several days and we were advised of status in a timely way. The cost was just as quoted.

They're a local company in my town. They completed the job during one visit. They came right when they said they would. There was a little mix up with the supplies but another person from the company came right out to deliver the correct materials. I'll be using their services again if I need to.

The person that came to service was late but he range 2 hour in advance letting me know he was goign to be an hour late. However he did turn up another 20 minutes later than the change in service time. However he did perform the service and provided some feedback from the inspection. Also he provided a quote for any other services that could be performed.

I was happy that he did not charge me quoted price of 100+ for cleaning that I did not need.

The chimneysweeper answered my call quickly and came to give an estimate. He was very reasonable with his prices and was able to explain the dangers of a stopped up chimney and the hazards it can cause. The cleaning was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the chimneysweeper was on time. He climbed through the attic, scraped with a wire brush and brought several bags of junk down that accumulated in the chimney. He put a stainless steel cover on the chimney top and cleaned up any mess leaving the attic spotless.
