Paragon Pools

This was the first pool I've had constructed and I interviewed four different pool builders before choosing Paragon. I am extremely happy with my choice. Leo Kleiweg with Paragon was thorough and detailed. He took my initial vision for a natural looking pool with several specific features and expounded on it. From a complex permitting process through all the myriad of choices I had to make, there was attention to detail and thorough education provided. I now have the beautiful pool I had envisioned and more. Great job Paragon!

We contract with Leo of Paragon Pool to build our pool and deck. We selected him as we know him through 2 other friends that have had pools, outdoor projects. Leo is very fastidious, has a good eye for quality and many good ideas which extended beyond the scope of his project into some other improvements we wre making. The permitting in Hedwig Village is a bit onerous and unreasonable. However, he did a great job navigating some issues with the inspector who was particularly and rudely focused on immaterial items and one nonsensical objection in the permitting process. Once he was cleared to start the project, he completed in fairly good time, considering the large backlog of projects they have in process with this particularly busy construction period in Houston. With all projects, there can be little hiccups in the way. But when there was, he took full responsbility and ensured things go done right. Nor did Leo try to nickel and dime us with scope changes as Maddox Pools in Sugar Land did several years ago on a previous home pool project. Paragon Pools is a top notch contractor with very friendly, knowledgeble and responsive project and site managers! We very much appreciated there help and advice with parts of our overall outdoor project which were not part of their scope.

We had a pool built at our previous home so we knew we wanted to have one built at our new home. We contacted a couple of pool builders, including the builder of our previous home's pool, to get proposals. A friend and neighbor is the office assistant at Paragon Pools so we included them in our search. Shortly after contacting Paragon Pools, I was contacted by our salesman, Dan, to set up an in-home consultation. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions, particularly regarding pool deck materials, pool plaster, and various pool equipment. After getting proposals from a couple of different pool builders, we decided to go with Paragon because of their professionalism and we felt that they had a better understanding of what we wanted. They weren't the lowest price but were priced competitively. After we had decided to go with Paragon but before we signed the contract, we found out that Paragon built a pool for a friend. We asked our friend for his thoughts on Paragon's work; he was very pleased with his pool and *highly* recommended Paragon. It was reassuring to know that we had made a good choice. We live in a subdivision that requires Home Owners' Association (HOA) approval before beginning construction. Our HOA management company lost our application so the approval process took quite a bit longer than usual. While waiting for the HOA approval, we visited Paragon's material suppliers and also met with Dan to look at several Paragon-built pools that incorporated features and materials that we were considering using for our pool. Dan's brother Dave was our construction supervisor and he kept us informed every step of the way, communicating by phone, email, and text message. Dave came to check on the progress after each subcontractor visit and often times was on site when the subcontractor arrived to discuss the work to be done. Dave has an eye for detail and demonstrated high standards. Each step of the construction process went very smoothly. Dave made sure that the construction was performed in a timely manner. The only delays were due to bad weather and the Christmas holidays (both things not under anyone's control!). Both Dan and Dave are extremely knowledgeable about pool building and provided us with pros and cons so we could make informed choices about design issues and materials. We made some design and material changes along the way. For each proposed change, cost difference information was provided within a business day so we could quickly decide if we wanted to make the change. We were very pleased with the work done by Paragon's subcontractors. I work from home so I was able to keep a close eye on their work; each subcontractor was professional and performed quality work. We highly recommend Paragon Pools.
