Roger Paddy has done work on our hardwood floor for several years on a periodic basis and the work was always well done with high quality results in a punctual manner. This time however, the work resulted in a "dull rough and somewhat sticky finish" in a "high traffic" area that contrasted badly with the rest of the floor surface. We complained; he came out and looked at it and said he could fix it but needed to come back to do it and would call us. After waiting days we called him, he sat a date, then later "delayed" the date due to a longer than expected other job in another part of Houston and then never called us back to reset a date. We finally gave up, thought about small claims court but decided it was not worth it. It has been months now and he has never contacted us. As I said his previous work was great, but something has happened and we will never use him or recommend him again. The floor is still dull and worn looking but we will eventually get it fixed...by someone else...or ourselves.
