A lot of back and forth about storm rating - they told me the doors were storm rated, but the doors were not registered with the appropriate rating agency and then I found out that breakaway garages don't need storm-rated doors (they should have known this). Then the very-expensive garage doors that they installed were too tall for the door opening and they offered me only a $400 rebate for this issue.

It went well - it was a little pricey, but they were available quickly and did a highly professional job.

The chain had come off and they greased it and then they gave me stuff to put on it and told me when to do it.

They did a good job and it's still doing fine. The quality was good. They did a great job and knew what they were doing. They didn't make a big fat mess, cleaned up well and gave me instructions on what to do. The chain came off and so they brought me an oil to put on it every once in a while and they fixed.

Technician claimed the door needs extra lubrication despite having been told by my wife that it has been lubricated just two month ago. He semi-forcefully sprayed lubricant to the rail and charged extra $50 for 3 minutes work and $3 lubricant.

Fantastic. Appointment was originally for 7.20.15, but then Tim called from the Katy store and said he could be out a little after 5pm on the 17th. (Same day I called)
He arrived and I went over the project  with him and he then went right to work. He went over every step of the job as though he was teaching me how to do the job. It was very refreshing to see someone so comfortable with his work that he was willing to share so much with me.
Great guy and can only hope when I need service again, he will still be there!

Today I was reading my monthly Angie's List Magazine and found an ad for Overhead Doors of Houston.  It reads, "Never pay for a replacement part".  I called Overhead Doors and spoke with the Manager, Bryan.  He asked me for a while to research.  I agreed.  Two hours later, he called and said that he had spoken with the owner and the owner agreed that I should not have paid for the part.  They are cutting me and check and mailing it back.  This is the "TRUST" that their ad speaks about.  They have definitely earned my trust.  
As to the original installation, I purchased wind storm rated doors because I live in Brazoria County,  Hurricane Country.  These doors are superior quality.  The Installation crew was on time, professional and courteous.  They took the time to explain the operation and maintenance of the doors.  As a contractor myself, I know how hard it is to find competent and courteous crews.  My installers were both.

My garage door spring broke on a Sunday with cars in the garage.  I was not able to open the door mechanically or manually.  Overhead door came out that day and replaced the spring.  I had to pay for a weekend call, but I had no other option.  I had some additional difficulty with the tensioner on the motor such that the door would open but the unit light kept flashing.   Overhead came back out and adjusted the motor settings and now everything works fine.

I highly recommend them.  The price was fair, and they came in right at their quote.  The service technician was on time and very professional.

I did not have a problem at all with the contract person in getting doors ordered.   The garage door installer, due to a mis-communication or contract facts of the installation had to come back a second time because certain guidelines were not followed due to hurricane specifications to get a WPI-8.  I live in an inland 1 area and certain guidelines had to be put in place before garage doors were hung so that I could pass inspection.  The second trip was better because it was done correctly.
