Don Came by and reviewed our home, inteiror and exterior. Suprisingly he told ud that the issues we were seeing are stricly from settling and not any thing to be concerned about

We had Don out to examine some cracking in our garage floor. He was thorough and professional, and took the time to inspect our entire home, inside and out. It turns out we do not need foundation work, and appreciate him not trying to sell us something we don't need. We would definitely recommend Olshan.

My service technician was Mr. Don E. He called ahead of my scheduled appointment. He arrived early and made me fill comfortable with the process. He thoroughly evaluated my property and made a informative assessment.

Alex was very professional and listened to all of my concerns. He provided knowledgeable solutions that fit my needs. They even worked me into his schedule ahead of my appointment.

We have had some long, thin cracks develop in the Sheetrock our 40-year old, 4300 SF two story home, and it was time to get the foundation assessed. Since Olshan has very good reviews, I contacted them. Mr David K came out and took measurements and explained Olshan’s methods of drilling piers. Olshan’s website states that “Repairs for a typical house with moderate foundation damage start around $8,000-$12,000 but can go as high as $20,000-$30,000.” I started to become concerned when Mr. K mentioned interior piers, which involve drilling 2 foot x 2 foot holes through the inside floor. Then I received his proposal. It calls for 70 exterior piers and 42 interior piers, at a cost of $91,000. But $91,000 is just the tip of the iceberg. The interior piers are on 6 foot centers and cover the entire first floor, under cabinets, the bathtub, kitchen counters, the shower, everything. Outside the piers follow the entire perimeter including under our pool equipment and A/C units. It is no exaggeration to say that performing this work would completely destroy the first floor of our home, both interior and exterior. It would probably impact our under slab plumbing to boot. We flooded with a foot of water in Hurricane Harvey 5 years ago, and it took 9 months and over $200,000 to rebuild the first floor. I am an architect so I know that this amount of destruction would cost every bit of another $200,000 to repair and could even go higher. I can’t even begin to describe my reaction to this proposal other than just….Absolutely NOT! Even if I believed this crazy plan was the right answer, which I emphatically don’t, it literally would make more sense for us to sell the house than to undertake a repair of such magnitude. We have had another foundation company out, and a third one is scheduled. Dale R from the other company has 23 years experience doing foundations, and his recommendations were both thoughtful and logical, as well as far less invasive. Dale R’s company permits their work and has a licensed structural engineer review it. He suggested having a forensic plumber check for a leak under the wet bar where most of the cracks are, which David K didn’t mention. We will not be using Olshan.

Appt went well. Great news - no foundation repair required.

I did not hire them. They were too expensive and after getting 2 other quotes, I was told that the repair was not that extensive.

We needed an evaluation of our cracked foundation. They took measurements and established a baseline for annual checkups. They will come back next year to see if there has been any additional movement that would require repair. I offerd to pay them but they said their evaluations are free - no charge. Excellent customer service before, during and after the evaluation!

Very well. Daniel Garcia and his team did an awesome job. His crew included Damien Agra, Qatarino Torres, Martin Tovar, Javier Amador, Francisco Agoayo, and Nery Rodriguesy. Hopefully, I have spelled their names correctly.

The technician was very nice, and notified me,that my foundation was fine.

The original work was performed in 2000. Their recent visit was to a**** if any warranty work was needed. All good.

Actually Olshan did our foundation repair back in 2012. Recently we asked them out, thinking there might be an issue. An Olshan rep came out and we explained our issue; he spent probably an hour with us, looking, taking measurements/readings, and walked around inside and out. With his knowledge, we were able to come to the conclusion we were not having foundation issues, but plumbing issues. We appreciated his time, expertise and thoughtful consideration of our problem. So yes, Olshan was paid (originally by home builder), and we were not charged anything for this rep's time and his visit. We do appreciate and trust Olshan, and if ever needed (hopefully NOT), we would use them again.

It didn’t. Over two months ago a representative came out to assess my foundation repair. After several calls after the appointment I still have not received my quote. The house is under warranty from previous work from all Olshans and I can’t Seem to get anybody to come out and fix my foundation

Olshan sent Jorge Garcia (the crew supervisor) and his crew including Rafael Gutierrez, Jose Euceda Padilla, Damian Agra, Wilson Pinto, and Jose Rodriguez to install 21 piers under the foundation of my house. A water test was performed both before and after the levelling, They did an excellent job completing the job in three days and cleaned up afterwards. They were polite, professional and answered all my questions.

This crew showed up on time every day and also cleaned the job site at the end of each day. When the job was completed, this crew took the time to ensure everything was washed down and my home was back in order. I appreciated everything they did.

Tracy Drain from Olshan came to my house was very friendly and professional. I was very worried, because I suspected that I had foundation problems, but after her examination, she informed me that I had a bad case of very uneven floors! I appreciated her honesty, and would thoroughly recommend her.

Olshan installed pressed piling supports around 3/4 of the perimeter of our home in 2017. All went well with that repair, and the company was good about leaving things cleaned up. We are remodeling our home and added an addition. Olshan was very good about coming to the property to give us opinions as to how to proceed. They've come at no charge to answer our questions about the addition, and a second time to answer questions about moving a wall and opening up a staircase. None of the changes/ or additions to our home have required them to add more pressed pilings or do any additional work to that which was done in 2017. They are an honest company that does a good job.
