New Beginning Remodeling

We hired Joe for a major remodeling job in August of 2023. We had floors changed, bathroom, cabinets, bar, and a new elevator shaft installed. Joe and his team were professional and completed the job as per our request. 1 year later,if we call Joe he responds immediately and sends out someone to take care of our concerns so he stands behind his work and his warranty. I recommended Joe to several friends and they were all happy with the finished product. I will continue to recommend Joe as he is honest and a good family man.

Be aware before you deal with this company. Joe is just a big talk but quality is worst and never finish project on time.

I am consumed with satisfaction at an amazing renovation completed in seven weeks. Joe and I worked together on design for our entire house-his crews were skilled and professional- Joe was always present to resolve any and all issues. An amazing experience!

Scam / Fraud Alert : I wanted to alert neighbors about checking out main company and sub contractor using the company's name and fame to get contract but bringing unskilled workers to finish the job and asking for big chunk of money. I contracted with New Beginning Remodeling for kitchen remodeling for 20k . It included granite counters, back splash and cabinet refacing. I paid half through a bank before they started project and half was due after it's done. The crew was unskilled and did sloppy job. There was several calls to supervisor but he never answered but once. I called the guy with whom I signed the contract but he said he left the job because he was not paid and gave me another person's number. On the last day when they finish backsplash, the front of kitchen drawer fell and I asked them to fix it but they said they we're finishing and I have to pay the remaining half and it will be done under warranty. I am going to file a official report to BBB about this scam company. I wanted to alert neighbors to please look out for subcontractors who are using famous company's name to lure customers and don't get scammed by these subcontractors who have just learned some skills and charging big chunk of money for sloppy jobs. Light fixtures were messed up and they never fixed them up correctly. At the end of the work, they wanted to charge an extra $800 for a sloppy job.

Prompt and efficient!

There were a few minor issues with my new shower but they were taken care of quickly.

Poor workman ship project not yet a year old and falling a part called the Beginning and discussed problem Joes he would. send some one its been 2 months no one called or showed up.

Joe and his team is very efficient and great. He answers his phone all the time and makes sure that you’ll be happy with the results. I would recommend this company for future clients.

Had a few issues with their plumber but they took care of minor improvements, thanks to George the crew manager very efficient and Mr Daman Perez excellent technician I’m very happy with my new flooring

We were well-pleased with the professional service of Joe and his crew form New Beginning. Over the period of one month the crew came in and installed LVP & Porcelain tile flooring throughout the house, did 2 bathroom remodels, and gave us a lovely feature fireplace. Additionally, furniture was moved logically and as needed while a cleaning crew came by to clean up once the remodel was completed. For the most part the crew was punctual - only twice did they fail to notify us that they were not coming. The crew was professional with their work and a special shout-out to Jorge & Damian - the project managers that kept everything going on schedule and handled problems quickly and efficiently. The only 2 negatives during the experience were 1) one of the painters neglected to attach the drain hose for the washer (yikes!) and 2) the plumber installed the waterlines in reverse and did not sufficiently tighten things, resulting in small leaks. We recommend New Beginnings without hesitation.

Joe, the business owner, was very nice and professional. I appreciated very much dealing with him on a first name basis because it fosters a relaxed atmosphere. I had a great experience with NBR! They were fair with their pricing and did a great job. They did the work quickly and were organized in doing the work with different trades working well together. They kept everything clean and orderly at the end of each day. They finished the project on time with good results.

The owner is a scam artist , cut corner , promise thing and donâ t deliver , donâ t response when u call, left work undone , does not provide work contract . Do not hire .

Joe is an amazing contractor. He listens to his customers and try hard to give them exactly what they are asking for. Being on time was a small issue because some days went without work being done and therefore the project took longer than expected other than that a job well done.

We remodeled our Master Bathroom and Kitchen and the areas looks great. I recommended Joe and New Beginnings Remodeling for any major remodeling project.

Joe the business owner very nice and professional, when one was his workers was extremely rude I bought it to his attention and he took care of it he never sends the man to my property again. The Contractor (Joe) contacted immediately after my initial search on Home Advisor and was able to give me an estimate that same day. The next day I had a few questions regarding the estimate so I contacted the Joe but no response for several days. I finally told him that I was going to go with someone else since I couldn't get in contact with him and that is when he finally contacted me back. He answered my questions and apologized stated that this would never happen again. *This was only the first of many times that this would happen.* According to Joe this project was only to take 2 weeks. The first day an entire crew of people showed up including Joe; this would be the first and last time a crew of people would show up. So here are the highlights of what went wrong. Joe has TERRIBLE communication skills. You hardly see him and he doesn't check up on his workers. He would tell me they were on there way (only AFTER I would call him and ask him if anyone was coming today) and no one would show up, or they would show up at 1 or 2 and would leave at 5. Some days they wouldn't show up at all or they would send one person to do ALL the work. Quality of work- The beginning the work was great but after that the quality took a dramatic turn. I had to make them do things 3 or 4 times to get it right. They would paint without tape so they would get paint EVERYWHERE and I'd have to tell them to clean it up. Painted/stained the cabinet with the doors and shelves in...so you know what that means...where the door and shelves touched the rest of the cabinet there was no paint. I literally had to take the door and cabinets off the hinges to get them to acknowledge that they needed to repaint it. Certain things were supposed to be done but was NEVER done. Instead of just buying the matching bullnoise and transition peices for the wood floor they tried to be cheap and do it themselves. I told him from the start that if they didn't match they were coming up. They had to do them 3 or 4 times. He spent more money trying to be cheap then just buying the matching pieces (which I know they sold because I had the floors done downstairs before this project and I have the matching transition peices). I literally could go on and on. The general idea of what I wanted was there but the execution and time table (they were two months behind the 2 week estimate) was seriously lacking. I finally had enough and decided to finish the remaining jobs around the house myself. I had to higher a company to fix the wood floors upstairs, a plumber to fix my toilet because it now made a weird sound after they reinstalled it and a guy to regrout the shower walls and bathroom floor where they missed grout. I did all the remaining painting myself.
