Muscles For Hire

Description of Work: I use them about once a year for odd jobs. They usually help me clean out my garage. They’ve also helped me move furniture into storage.

Description of Work: They moved furniture from the attic down a flight of stairs and transferred items from garage to attic.

Description of Work: He did several little things for me. He fixed a door that wouldn't close right. He also cleaned out my small garden shed and the yard, raking it and getting rid of the winter debris.

Description of Work: He cleaned out the large tool shed at my house which I inherited from my mother. The shed held her 80 years worth of stuff. He hauled everything away.

Description of Work: Due to the small dimensions of my stair well from the 1st to the 2nd floor, Muscles for Hire moved a long couch through a 2nd story French door opening. They also moved out of my living room the old couch and a large chair (both couldn't go down the stairs).

Description of Work: Remove heavy trash items from attic and garage (on rafters). Move a trailer full of boxes from current attic location to attic in new house.

Description of Work: Mark and Bob repaired a cabinet, repaired an outdoor fountain and repaired a front-door lock. They also replaced a couple of ceiling bulbs.

Description of Work: Recently I hired them for a complicated job of cleaning out two storage lockers, transporting some furniture and many other items to one address, some to another and some to yet another. Also to carry many heavy boxes and some very fragile things upstairs. It took about 6 hrs with 3 men and a trailer. It was about 100 degrees that day but they never complained. I have also hired them just to move heavy furniture from room to room in my house. They even moved a 500 lb. safe. They have loaded a walk-in shipping container and made it safe and secure. They've moved a house full of furniture and personal items from a 2-story townhouse to a 2nd floor apartment in the pouring rain. They have cleaned a garage for us. They've moved my mother-in-law in and out of Assisted Living. They will also do many handyman jobs;almost anything you can think of.

Description of Work: They moved furniture from a first floor room into the garage and from a third floor room to a first floor room. They changed batteries in all smoke alarms and bulbs in recessed ceiling fixtures(I have high ceilings). They fixed the ceiling light fixture. They replaced bulbs in the garage door opener light (you have to take it apart to change the bulb).

Description of Work: They set up a trampoline and enclosure, and put together a large outdoor metal shed.

Description of Work: Muscles for Hire loaded a rental truck with all my daughter's the furniture and boxes to move to a new apartment in San Antonio.

Description of Work: Moved a 300 pound stone garden bench (in three pieces, two wide legs of solid stone and one 4 ft very heavy top) from the back of my SUV which I backed up into my driveway to my back yard. Distance of move was about 30 feet from the SUV to the destination spot. Took two men. Three men would have cost more. I had picked up the bench at the nursery and watched how they loaded it so I knew what kind of manpower was needed. That was important to know when talking with the customer interface person for this company. Price was quoted at $95 per hour. Job took less than an hour but still worth the $95.
