We hired Mr. Handy Plus Services for a complete master bathroom remodel. We chose them due to Mr. Tulio Pineda’s (owner) professionalism and his detailed/fair bid. During the execution of the project, there were a few items that were not done to our satisfaction. Tulio and his team were more than willing to address our concerns and make things right. The project was completed almost entirely by the timeline set in the contract. The only reason for the delay was that we had to order a new mirror due to the old one cracking after remounting. We are very happy with our new bathroom and are pleased to recommend Mr. Handy Plus to anyone considering a home remodeling project.

We worked with Tulio on a significant home renovation project that included a master bathroom renovation among others. When we did our final walk through, we pointed out multiple things that were wrong including shower door not installed properly so extremely hard to open and close, water not coming out of rain shower head that he installed, grout job already cracking and falling out, paint job not properly done- when fixtures are switched out the old paint show, new toilet shakes, the list goes on. Tulio agreed all these should be fixed but said his team was too busy to come right out and fix it. This was in July. I have been contacting him since August to no response. Use at your own risk.

"Hello Mrs. Amaning, I regret that you feel that way and that you recurred to the review system; I also know that every one of my clients deserves a clear answer to their questions, so here is the answer to your concerns: 1) We reserve the right to serve good paying customers: you refused to pay your last payment of $1866.33 that was due at project completion. 2) Your checks for your first, and second payments bounced, not once but twice I had to pay the bank's NSF fee because you never had the dignity to correct the issue properly. 3) You never once visited the project even though you said you were going to be in Houston to manage it."

My home was damaged from the 2021 Winter Freeze last February and after dealing with 2 other failed contractors (con artists) I found Tulio with Mr. Handy Plus Services. Not only did he take on the unfinished work needing to be done in my home from my previous contractor, he also fixed the mistakes that were left behind by them out of the goodness of his heart. I now almost a year later, have my home back. Words cannot express the overall rebuild experience I received from Tulio. Tulio and his team were professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves every day and were great people in general. We needed to remodel a three-bedroom, two-story townhouse that was in really poor condition to get it ready for sale. Mr. Handy Plus did a complete kitchen remodel, new paint and hardwood floors throughout, and much more. Very accessible, always answered. Quote was very thorough. Work was very well done. The shower looks amazing! Other things we had done were counter top upgrades with sinks and faucettes. Crown moulding in bedrooms, kitchen cabinet hardware installation and storm door installation. Everything looks beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Tulio was great to work with- very responsive, reasonable cost, quick to complete the work and great quality. Ruban on his team did a beautiful job installing our Zellige tile backsplash. They also helped us complete the tile and trim work our builder abandoned - finding creative solutions for major issues from the builder's low quality subs. We would definitely recommend them!
