Very quick, price was right, and the end result is indistinguishable from the original mortar! Can't go wrong with Mr. Brick!

What a wonderful company, and very professional service! You simply can't tell where there has been a repair- it all looks original now! And- it held up during Hurricane Harvey! We are so pleased.

Outside repairs were ok, but the fireplace repair was not successful. First of all, the repairs were sloppy, with mortar overlapping onto the  brick.  Within a few weeks, the same cracks reappeared. This original repair was completed by just adding new mortar, not cleaning off old mortar from the bricks first. After 4 attempts to get in touch with the owner, Chuck, agreed at my request to send someone else out to fix, but claimed the cracks were due to the rains, causing settling in the foundation, although no cracks are evident in front of hearth.   The 2nd guy came out and re-mortared the bricks by removing them and using new mortar.  That process was ok, but the color of new mortar on 2nd visit is not a good match to the old.  Their workers don't seem to care about the quality of work, which is unfortunate, because there are other providers out there who do.

gave a free estimate, were very patient about finding a time that fit my schedule, were very friendly on the phone, treated me like I was special.  work looks fabulous!

Mr. Brick was one of the few contractors that would do the brick work that needed to be done on our house in a historic district. In addition, his bid was half of that received from another company, and he offered to do several additional tasks that the other company said we needed to hire additional contractors to provide. We had several columns that were leaning badly due to tree damage. Mr. Brick took down all existing structures, salvaged practically all the existing brick, and rebuilt them to look like they were new. He was easy to communicate with and knew exactly what we needed. For negatives - he didn't take credit cards which we wanted to use. Also, the workers made a pretty big mess in our yard with the brick and mortar and other items. A mess was to be expected, but I wish his workers would have consulted with us about where to put the debris before they started so that we could have minimized impact on our yard. Overall we are very pleased with the work and would definitely use him again.

Went extremely well. Matched up perfectly, couldn't tell any diffence. Perfection. Did extra work by filling in other cracks in the morter, at a completely different area, with no additional charge. Pure artistry!

Very efficient. Took a couple days to tear down,  3-4 days to rebuild.. I had lots of bricks left fro m building house 40 years ago, which they used, plus what they could save on tear down..  Very pleased.

He first power washed the bricks. Then the next day repaired the mortar and I could not tell where the cracks were. I would recommend he to anyone who needs brick and/or mortar work done.

He didn't come back out to look at his repairs. I have called him 3x and haven't heard back from him. The brick color doesn't match and I asked him to acid wash them; he still hasn't done it. I feel like I could have done a better job myself. The worker that came out also spoke Spanish, which I don't speak.

The Owner, Chuck Oberman, came out to look at the house on August 26, 2014.  We walked around the exterior and he made notes about what was needed.  He had an estimate to me the same afternoon.  After I accepted he said he would contact me the next week to schedule the work.  He called on Tuesday, September 2 and said they could work on the house that day.  Two masons showed up about 9:00 and spent the rest of the day putting mortar into the cracks.  The work took only one day.  They filled the cracks in the porch arches, which had bothered me for some time.  When we bought the house 30 years ago it was rewired and a brick was left out behind the edge of the new breaker box.  The masons cut out a brick so they could slide another one in behind the box.  The repair is now not noticeable.   Some of the mortar used in the repairs is not exactly the same color as the old mortar but without any cracks to draw one's attention it is not noticeable when looking at the house.  The masons cleaned up after they were done.  Overall they did a good job and I would recommend Mr. Brick for this type of work.

I called two other Angie's list companies and they have yet to return call.    I reluctantly called Mr Brick (thinking it would be one of those large impersonal companies).  I received a call the next day, got estimate and the work is now complete.  I had a number of cracks due to foundation shifting.  Previous owner had tried to make repairs but it was terrible.  There were white streaks from previous repair   Mr Brick replaced all of the broken bricks and fixed the previous repairs so that it looks like new  There were also some bricks that had been painted by previous owner trying to hide cracks ... again bricks cleaned and mortar matched   I have put off this work for several years because I was concerned the cost would be astronomical   $1250 is very reasonable as most of the work was up at least 12-15 feet up on the wall  I am going to make sure everyone knows about Mr Brick of Houston

The two brick areas on the front porch were perfect. However, the repairs to the bull nose edging had to be re-done.
While Mr. Brick did not hesitate to return to re-do those areas, the workers "stashed" the scraps behind a fence. When questioned about this, Mr. Brick said he'd send someone by to remove them, it never happened. Not honest or professional in my opinion.

Excellent work performed above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this company for any brick or mortar repairs. they stuck to their estimate and showed up when promised and performed all work as promised. I highly recommend Mr Brick for any repairs you may need. Outstanding!!!

Brandon, the owner's son made sure I had plenty of samples. Then he gave me his opinion of what he felt would look attractive. This company does AN EXCELLENT JOB, and their bid was a little under several others I had gotten. But we are super happy with the work, the look and the quality.

Job went great!  I am still very surprised how well they matched 60 year old mortar so well as I can't even notice the difference.  The planter was built back to original form and can barely tell i was rebuilt.  Job on took a couple hours,  workers were very professional and they brought a large team to get the job completed quickly.  
Owner who came out for the estimate offered even more than I originally asked for (or realized) with their minimum call out price and was very knowledgeable. Their price was the most competitive and they honored the Angie's list coupon.  I would use again.

The job went as expected with no additional work or follow up required.  I am very satisfied with the work and the service.

Mr. Brick returned our inquiry calls promptly and kept us informed of when they would be coming to do the work. They came within a few days of initial inquiry and let us know to within an hour of when the workers would be there. They workers were very professional and did an excellent job of matching the new mortar to the old mortar. If you didn't know where the repairs were made you wouldn't be able to tell.

The quote was reasonable and they were very responsive in coming out to give us the quote as well as  when it came time to actually do the work.  There was a minor issue with the height of one of the finished knee walls, but they came out and addressed the issue, no questions asked.  I would definitely use them again.
