Tim was extremely prompt and responsive, and spent time with us discussing our requirements and brainstorming solutions. His turnaround for plans was a little over a week, which was as promised. We ended up not using his plans for our remodel, as we found a much more cost effective solution, but would recommend his services particularly for those who already had their idea solidified and just needed schematics or plans for permitting or contractors.

I cannot say enough great things about working with Tim Schorre at Morningside. We were referred to Tim by Billy Lucas of Lucas Craftsmanship in 2008 as we wanted to do a large addition to our 1930 bungalow. After working with another architect who as a total flake, we took Billy's advice to contact Tim. He completely understood our goals and was so amenable to fine-tuning the project so that our end result would be perfect. The challenge was doing an addition that would feel and flow like it had been there all along. We didn't want that and quot;added onand quot; sensation, which is difficult when more than doubling the size of a home from 958 square feet to 1950. We have been back in our house for over 3 years now. I feel so lucky to live where I do, every day. He was also very amenable to partnering with the City of Houston contact who was guiding us through the requirements of getting approval on our plans given that we are in a historic district, which presented additional requirements. Tim is a great listener, has zero ego, and was full of excellent ideas to get the space and flow we wanted. Everything was delivered on time and as promised.

We were very happy with the results. We were very satisfied with the cost as well. She listened very carefully to what we wanted and came up with a plan to incorporate those ideas.

The person is affable and quite helpful but difficult sometimes to get hold of. I would not recommend them to others.

They completed the work in February. I am not sure about the cost of the project, but it was a green building to our size specifications. They had creative recommendations. The building was their design, but it met our criteria. They found the contractor. They followed through and did all the negotiations with the contractor and so on. Our experience with them was excellent. I was impressed with how responsive they were. They were kind and knowledgeable. They were willing to learn along the way because it was the first complete LEED dwelling they had done. They had done other LEED things, but like everybody else, they were learning how to do green buildings. They were very impressive. They also did the interior paint design for the building.
