Our trouble was with the main office. As many other members have said, their billing was irregular, often unexpected, and inconsistent. Moreover, conversations with their office personnel were unprofessional, discourteous, and sometimes downright confrontational! They were never able to explain discrepancies/difficulties adequately, and became defensive and/or combative when we pressed for clarification. On more than one occasion their response was simply, and quot;well, do you want to cancel your service?and quot; Eventually, we did!
We found Molly Maid inflexible, unprofessional, and generally dismissive, which is very sad considering the level of service provided by their cleaning personnel. In the end, they couldn't care less whether or not they kept our business.
UPDATE
I have reported on the wrong Molly Maid - this should be for Molly Maid Galleria and Midtown.
So I received a voicemail to my call advising my message would be sent to Erica or management for a response. Two days later I received an invoice for over $200 which made no sense since I paid for all services as they were performed. The next day I received a voicemail returning my call about poor service. I called today to cancel my service. I was advised they would agree not to come for the next service, but would not close my account because I had a balance of $101.45. Since services are $105, this makes no sense. I told them that wasn't correct, that I had paid for all services, they were not to charge my card since I had previously withdrawn their right to use the card, and please cancel my account. I terminated the call to avoid further argument. I called back to make arrangements to have them return my house key. They advised I had to drive to Houston to retrieve my key, that they don't mail keys for security purposes, or they would discard my key. I have no faith they would securely discard my key, nor that they have reliably handled my key since they can't abide by a simple contract or keep accurate billing records. So now I have to pay to re-key my house. Avoid this company and save yourself a significant hassle.
