Christopher was super responsive. He understands my concern to have the inspection done accurately and receive the mold clean certificate as soon as possible, so that the house can be ready to be on the market for potential buyer. He is super courteous, he explained to me how his methods works, suggested me to take pictures during inspection. Christopher took extra effort to send in the inspection reports on the day of the inspection, and send in the full certificate within 3 business days. I appreciate very much how he takes care of his customers.

We are selling our home and the new home owners and their insurance required a mold certificate since our home flooded during Harvey. we worked with reputable contractor and they remediated. We called another company prior to him and she told me that since we had already completed the rebuild, we would very likely fail. And she would refer me to a company they work with to help us remediate. and then after tarping and holes in the wall, they would come back out (pay again) and then we would probably pass...it didn't pass my smell test. This company was professional and very nice. He explained the entire process to us, without causing ANY anxiety or telling us we would probably fail. He did the testing and 48 hours later, we received an email passing. This process should not be another Harvey related stressor. Thank you to Mold Inspection Houston it was not! This company did the mold inspection at my house after the Harvey flood and they gave me a certificate saying that the remediation was done properly. We rehabbed the house (over 40K in cost) and when we listed it a buyer came and said it smells like mold so we did another test and it came saying that there is mold in the house!!! Tried to reach them by email or text so they explain to me how did it pass the first time with no response.

Contacting Chris to set up an appointment was easy. I called him and was able to have him perform an inspection the next day. He showed up promptly. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He promised a report by the next night and provided his assessment in addition to the actual data provided by the lab. The report was easy to read and understand.

Phillip Chime was our mold inspector and he was extemely professional and knowledgeable. He thouroughly explained the inspection process and all associated fees before beginning the inspection. He did not try to upsell us on any services and in fact let us know what we should and shouldn't need to do with regards to the inspection in order to save us time and money. He worked quick and finished the inspection in less than the estimated time we were quoted. Once completed Phillip explained the next steps and what to expect. The proceeding follow up was great as well. I honestly hope we never need to use Mold Inspection Sciences again, but would call them again wihout hesitation.

I would not recommend this provider to anyone. I paid $530 (I received a $20 discount for finding him on Angie's list) for a full visual inspection and 4 air samples. When I hired the inspector I informed him that I was on a tight deadline and that this inspection was the final requirement for me to purchase a new home. When the inspector arrived he made comments about the foliage proximity to the house as we walked in. he took the 4 air samples in the hotspot areas and prepared to leave. I asked him to conduct the visual inspection. He walked around the upstairs marked visible mold on 2 vents and left. After leaving I noticed water damage in a bathroom with brown patches surrounding it. When the report came much of the visual inspection data that I was told would be documented in the report was missing I contacted the inspector for clarification via phone and email and received no response. I called 3 mold remediation companies one that he recommended and 2 other local companies. All 3 companies had questions about what the inspector actually wanted done I attempted to contact him and again heard nothing. Finally 9 days later he called to clarify one point after the mold remediation company he recommended contacted him. The other 2 remediation companies still had questions one of them told me that it was the shortest and least clear inspection report that he had ever seen and that many of the recommendations didn’t make sense. Ultimately 7 days after the receipt of the report we had to close with the lowest bid remediation company questions still being unanswered. When he finally returned my call after once again the remediation company he recommended contacted him it turned out that the full scope of work in his report was unclear and I am not out an extra 2k. His excuse for not calling me back in the 7 day period was “I do 4 jobs a day and do not have time to call you and answer your questions” I would never use this vendor again and highly recommend that you avoid doing business with him at all costs. It went well. He said that the testing and results would be completed by today. We should get an email with the results as well as a referral for duct cleaning. We didn't get any do's or don't's.

It went well. The air in the bathroom was clean. The report was submitted promptly Christopher was very courteous and personable.

Christopher was very prompt in responding to my initial query, and when he arrived to assess the situation, he was thorough, and explained the process clearly. I received his report the next day, and was able to begin the process of effectively removing the mold immediately, based on his findings and suggestions. Throughout, I found him to be helpful, honest and reliable.

Chris was wonderful to work with! Very knowledgeable and professional. I love that he's the owner of the business and came out to do the testing himself. It made me feel confident and comfortable that the work was done properly. He did a great job explaining to me the process of getting samples. He let me know that my results will be ready the next evening and he delivered on this. I was very pleased with his service and have recommended him to family and friends.

Chris spent a good amount of time walking through the house performing a site inspection. He took several air samples and promised a report by the end of the evening the next day! Very professional and very helpful. His prices were more reasonable than any of the other firms I contacted.

Chris is extremely knowledgable and a true professional. He completed two services at our home, which included obtaining tile samples and testing for asbestos in our 1980s linoleum flooring and a visual inspection and moisture level readings for suspicions of mold issues in our garage. His report for the tile samples (we did in fact have asbestos-backed linoleum) was detailed, well-written and provided in a timely manner.  Chris promptly followed up with us to discuss the report, heard our concerns as we have two young children, and made valuable suggestions on how to proceed.

Our second service was related to mold concerns. After visually surveying our garage due to my suspicions of mold issues, Chris promptly concluded that we did not have a major mold issue, and used moisture readings to test the moisture levels in our garage and home to help determine the problem (high levels of humidity in garage and not enough ventilation). His conclusion saved us several hundred dollars as he did not have to conduct mold tests, which can be costly.
