I love them as my veterinarians. I have known them since I was in middle school. They take care of my parents dogs. They take care of my dogs. I had three dogs and two of them just passed away last year from basically old age, but they took care of all three of my dogs for fourteen years. Dr. Rutledge is very responsive and easy to talk to. He is very cautious and takes the time to really understand the problem before prescribing protocol. The staffs working there have all been there for a very long time. A lot of them know their patients personally.

They charge a little more than I was expecting and the vet was suggesting I not keep the cat because of the problems it was having, but I think the cat needs me. They were very kind and let me borrow a carrier for free so I could transport the cat to the office and let me return it at my convenience.

My family and I have used Dr. Rutledge as our Vet for all or pets since approximately 1982( approx 9 dogs - pure breed and mix) . He and his office staff are wonderful and caring. Dr. Rutlege is knowlegeable, informs you of options and costs. He has and utilizes common sense. His charges are reasonable and justified.

We've been going to Mission Bend Animal Clinic since 1981 and were probably some of Dr. Rutledge's first clients when he first set up his practice. We started out with a cocker who lived to the ripe old age of 14. Our second dog was a German Shepherd mix. She had terrible allergies and Dr. Rutledge worked diligently to find out what her triggers were and how to help her live a good life. Dog #2 lived to be 13. Dog #3 (currently with us) was a rescue dog with lots of trust issues. Dr. Rutledge and his staff have won her over with their kindness.
We trust and respect Dr. Rutledge's professional judgment and would not go anywhere else. He and his staff sincerely care about the animals they treat and it shows. He's extremely thorough in his care and takes the time to speak to the pet owner to ensure they understand treatment options.
We moved to Sugar Land 20 years ago and continued to take our animals back to him for treatment. We're about to move to The Heights now and will continue to bring our dog to him. His prices are very reasonable.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable.

came home from a trip to find that there were fleas in the house. my oldest cat was having a bad allergic reaction. called the vet and loved that they had saturday morning hours. they were able to squeeze my cat in to be seen. everything worked out great, and my old tom cat is back to his wonderful self.

Dropped off our cat for boarding and exam. She is very shy and can get aggressive if provoked. The staff is wonderful working with her and I can't thank them enough.

I have used Mission Bend Animal Clinic a number of times for my Chihuahua mix dog. The staff is always professional. It is not hard to get a convenient appointment. The doctor is very knowledgeable and explains the processes well. He even took the time to call me after hours to check on my dog when she was sick. I will use them again.

I have been taking my pets to see Dr Rutledge since 1982. He and his staff have never been anything but polite, helpful and supportive. They have even sent sympathy cards when a pet has been put down. I have more trust in Dr Rutledge and his staff than many of the people doctors I've done business with! Dr R has performed surgery on my pets, treated them for various infections, illnesses and other canine and feline conditions. He has stayed calm in the face of my hysteria at hearing bad news and has fully explained all treatment options when one of my pets is ill. I wouldn't dream of taking my pets anywhere except Mission Bend Animal Clinic. I only wish they treated people too!

I have been with Missions for over twenty-five years and not one time have I ever had a problem with them. They are always nice and considerate, never mean or crude. You can see the professionalism in them; they always know what exactly it is that they are doing. I have not had a problem as far as pricing. If I don't have the money upfront and since I have been there so long they will just send me a bill.

Our dog is doing very well, so I feel this is an excellent place to take our pets. I took my dog in for sickness, they did testing, gave him medicine, and did excellent follow up care. I was worried at the time, although now I am thankful for the quality of their care.

I have used Mission for well over twenty years now and they seem to be very reasonable. Mission is very good with the animals. The location to the vet is very easy to get to. The pricing varies from visit to visit, depending on what needs to be done, if it is a dog or a cat and even how old the animal is.

THE DOCTOR GAVE MY KITTY A PHYSICAL EXAM AND PRESCRIBED HER AN ANTIBIOTIC. I HAVE BEEN BACK SEVERAL TIMES SINCE AND I AM HAPPY WITH THAT CLINIC.

WE ARE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE VETS AT THIS ANIMAL CLINIC. THE STAFF ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY CARE FOR DOTTIE AS IF SHE WERE THEIR PET.
