Everything Mike does is excellent. He listens to what you want to do and may make suggestions. The few times he has made suggestions, they were the right decisions -- such as the color of paint for the walls. I wanted one color and Mike suggested a different color. He painted a sample on the wall of both colors and he was right -- his color was much better. I've been very happy with the color for the past 5-1/2 years (neutral).
He arrives on time or even a bit early, he's very professional and works diligently throughout the project. He's very personable and trust worthy. He also cleans up before he leaves. I have no qualms about Mike being in my house without being there. In fact, most of the time, he does the projects while I'm at work. I leave the cash on the counter for him to take when he's through with the work -- he leaves a bill on the counter, cleans up, locks up the house and calls me when it's finished to let me know how the project went, thanks me for the work and leaves.
I have used Mike Vollmer for everything in my house over the last 5-1/2 years. He's repainted the entire interior (1435 sq.ft house), he's replaced ceiling fans, light fixtures, garage door and garage door opener, sheetrock repair, finished the walls in my garage (including installation of sheetrock, tape and float) and painted the walls, replaced the vanity, mirror and light in the guest bath and painted the walls and replaced all of the baseboards in the house. He also replaced the trim on the front windows on the exterior of the house and painted all the trim. Future projects include cleaning and restaining the kitchen cabinets as well as replacing the moulding on the kitchen cabinets and replacing the master bath mirror and vanity.
I highly recommend Mike and will definitely use him on other projects I'll be doing in the future. I have recommended him to others as well and they have all been very happy with Mike.

He is very reliable. He is very skilled, does his job correctly and on time. Mike is very trustworthy. I feel like I can leave him at my house and not have to supervise what he is doing. Can't reccomend him enough.
