MCDARIS A/C AND HEATING

Well. They don't try to upsell.

Great. We have been using Matt for nearly 7 years. He came out initially and was able to get our home warranty to replace our furnace, after 3 previous companies kept band-aiding the problem only to come out weeks later. After that we have used McDaris exclusively. We have replaced 2 A/C units with his company - separate units - and he always walks us through our choices and recommends what is best for us and our budget. The job gets done in a timely manner and the work is always above expectations.

I called McDaris in a bit of a panic as my a/c blower unit was acting up. As they had installed it new the previous November, they came to take a look the same day. Not only did they find the problem but fixed it at no charge, even though the pipe clogging and subsequent failure had nothing to do with the installation work that had been done.
I have used McDaris for my a/c and heating needs since I bought my home 10 years ago. They consistently do great work at a competitive price. I trust them to do the work, even if I can't be there myself to oversee it. They are a family own and run business. When the proverbial torch was passed recently to the and quot;next generationand quot; I was concerned the customer care might diminish. I was so pleased to see that the family tradition of service has lived on!

We were assigned this provider by our Home Warranty company. Our AC went out when the temperatures were and gt;100. My husband is disabled and has a history of heat stroke. They honestly didn't care and wouldn't come out to even check the problem for a couple of days. Once the repairman arrived and determined the problem, they added on fees to clean the fan for 3X what other companies advertise. A second visit was required since after 4 weeks, the AC went out again. Again it took a couple of days for them to come and discover a minor problem that was fixed in less than 5 minutes. Had this company not been assigned by our warranty company, I would not have used them. I will never recommend them. They had a golden opportunity to provide great service for a potential sale of a new system (which we would pay for since no home warranty company will), but their attitude in both response time and service totally precludes that decision. We will go elsewhere.

Very honest. Pointed out items that I could do to save money and did not try to sell me items not needed.

McDaris A/C answered my call promptly and followed up readily with an estimate and service check. They were very reasonable with their prices and were able to explain specific details regarding the maintenance and cleaning of the air conditioner. The checkup was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the technician was on time. He blew out the motor, checked the belt and d other parts, and it was in tiptop shape. He cleaned up any mess and left me a card for future cleanings.

MR MCDARIS IS A VERY LIKEABLE GUY. HE ALSO IS VERY GOOD AT DIAGNOSING AND FIXING THE PROBLEM. I FIRST DID BUSINESS WITH HIM AS A RESULT OF A HOME BUYERS WARRANTY, BUT WILL CONTINUE. I'D USE HIM AFTER MY WARRANTY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. HE CAME AND CHECKED MY OVERFLOW AND TOLD ME THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITHOUT CHARGING ME.
