From the moment I  contacted Maz Contractors until the time the job was finished it was top notch treatment.

I called on Wednesday to request a bid and the new patio was completed on the following Monday.

I was at work and received numerous pictures of the work being completed.

Best of all I loved everything.  The patio looked even better than I had hoped for.

Very rare in this age to be able to find someone with such professionalism.

It did not go very well.  I asked for a quote to extend my backyard concrete patio.  I believe that his square footage measurements were not correct as I measured myself after he left, so watch out for these contractors, because they may give you an incorrect quote and the wrong measurements to make more money. He added over 100 extra square footage.  He insulted me through text message and told me that I had no money.  That is something that you should never tell a potential customer.  You never tell a customer that they have no money....For that reason I will go with another contractor.  This contractor is arrogant, not customer friendly, insulting, and doesn't treat customers with respect.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE GIVES THIS CONTRACTOR THEIR BUSINESS ANYMORE.  GO WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR ON ANGIE'S LIST.

Answered the phone 1st time i called. sent him my information so he could come and give a quote. Never heard back from him. Texted and called a couple times.

very punctual, quality results and per specification. will quote low volume work at a reasonable price and not just a minimum cost as other contractors. the minimum bid from higher volume contractors was significantly different for my sq/ft.

My experience with this company was pleasant from beginning to end. I LOVE our patio. It is beautiful. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Adrian did a great job for us.I wanted to add on to my existing patio on both sides. The kicker was that it was on a downward hill. Adrian said it was not a problem he was going to install a footing in front of both slabs. It turned out great. Adrian and his guys were very professional and cleaned up everything after they were done. They even power washed my drive way to get the dirt off from the dump trailer. I RECOMMEND AND WILL USE HIM AGAIN....

Adrian and his team did a great job.  There was never a delay in communication and the job was done quickly with little disruption.  We accepted the bid in the morning and the team was over to set the forms that afternoon.  The concrete was poured the following day and completed by the end of the day.  Everything was cleaned up well when the job was done.  Adrian was present throughout the process and always responded to texts within minutes.  I would recommend Maz Contractor Services to friends and family and will be contacting them in the future for any additional work.

I did not know how deep the concrete went, it was huge and Adrian did not anticipate the job would be so big and take so long.  Adrian and his crew kept in touch with me the whole time and Adrian behaved in a very professional manner.  I would trust him with ANY job at my house and I feel so lucky to have found him.

Maz Contracting was great. Adrian was super professional and prompt. He worked with my work schedule to come give me a quote and the same day he and his team starting removing our old patio. He texted me photos along the way and answered any questions I had via text which was AWESOME. My husband and I were both at work so getting those progress pics settled our minds and was super exciting exciting each time a new one came in. The entire process only took a few days and that was accommodating for some rainy weather. The finished product looks great and we are enjoying our new patio

Discovered there was no rebar in the original driveway, with some sections having 10" thick concrete.  Also found no tree roots in the driveway, which was a pleasant surprise since there is a massive oak tree nearby.  Mr. Amezquita (owner) came to my house the same day I called for an estimate, and the work was done the next morning.  A large crew showed up so the excavation, rebar setting, pouring and finishing happened pretty quickly.  Because of the large and deep cracks, dirt under the driveway had washed away, setting it up for a big collapse.  The crew replaced the dirt before continuing.  Mr. Amezquita was polite and professional, a delight to work with.  I highly recommend his company and will use again if I have other projects.

The job went fine. Using Angies List I contacted 3 concrete companies. Maz was the first to respond and quoted a fair price. He ,Adrian Amezquita was ready to start immediately. That sealed the deal. He arrived shortly after and we reviewed the job and  his guys went to work. Using a jackhammer, they broke up the concrete and used wheelbarrows to remove the broken pieces. That part was somewhat difficult because they had to maneuver around a swimming pool. After 2 hours of work they had finished. They left the site clean of debris and filled in the void that was left. I am happy with their work and would use them again for similar projects.

Adrian came out and inspected job.  He gave us a very competitive price.  His crew came out the next day and started repairs on the damaged part of the drive way.  Finished the following day.  Wish all contractors operated the same way.  I highly recommend and will use Maz contractors on future projects.

Hiring Maz Contractor Services, you will not just get a great job done, you will have the pleasure of getting to know Adrian, the owner, personally as well as his team members. My husband and I have been so very blessed to have Adrian make our home absolutely beautiful as well as consider him our friend! When we first called Adrian to come out for an estimate, he responded right away. I told him everything we wanted to do and right away felt that he would do an excellent job and was an honest man with great integrity. We had received other bids but we knew that we wanted Adrian to work for us. Adrian got to work right away on an outdoor project, while we were gone, since we had already scheduled to be out of town. He removed our old rotten deck and gazebo and even sent us photos of the progress! When we returned, the rain rolled in .... And stayed ...Adrian suggested that we start on the inside projects because of the rain & and he was very patient while I was running around trying to make choices since we thought we would have a while longer before we started the inside work. He was so sweet & helped us make the right choices since we had never done any remodeling before. He pointed out that our cabinets were very good quality and in excellent condition so all we needed was to paint them instead of replacing them. Well, that saved us a LOT of money that we could allocate to another project. They came out beautifully and he was exactly right. He, Lucino and Jose primed the cabinets, even decided that they would be better with a second coat. He and his crew took their time to make sure it all looked beautiful for us! After the painting was done there were a few spots that need touched up, Adrian promptly took care to make sure all was done perfectly. The same with painting the walls, some areas in our wall were not smooth, so they took the time to sand and even them out so they came out beautifully! Adrian recommended that we paint the kitchen cabinet hinges as well (instead of replacing) to save more money and if we didn't like them, he would do it over. He was right ... They're great! With all the rain we were having, it was very humid, so he created this really cool "bubble" to keep the humidity out as well as protect everything else from the primer and paint. They were all very conscientious and respectful to us and our property while they were there. He was also able to send us to his friend and former coworker, Christian, who works in granite fabrication and installation and he did a wonderful job with it! We got the granite in and then our appliances came. We know there's always a glitch, but Adrian stepped up once again and fixed our problem! Our new oven was skinnier and taller than the old, so he and Lucino went to work customizing the cabinet space so it would fit. It looks like it was custom built now! Adrian does not subcontract out ... he is there doing the work himself and if others are doing it, he will drive all the way across Houston just to check to see that everything is going the way it should. You are certainly not going to get that kind of caring from just anyone. He finished the inside, for now, as we plan to do more projects with him in the future. He then moved to the outdoor projects once again, now that the rain was gone! They removed our old and cracked patio between our house and the pool. It was amazing how fast and neatly they did that too! After that, they started the construction of our two new concrete patios. They did an amazing job on it! He redirected and redesigned the drainage to properly drain instead of leaving standing water the way it was currently. He put in this really nice Ecodrain close to the pool and it does a great job and even looks pretty! We took out a flower bed and extended the patio right up to the pool decking. I had some plants that I wanted to keep and relocate, so his guys did that for me ... Even with a smile! These guys worked so hard and of course, Adrian was right there to make sure it was all done properly! They installed the rebar so well and straight, this patio is going to last way past us! They finished it off beautifully ... We had stamped concrete before but I wanted an easy to clean patio and the brushed finish that he put on there is exactly what we wanted. Just sweep it off and the rain runs right off thanks to Adrian's expertise on the drainage! While the one patio was being replaced, Adrian had another team working on our customized patio and firepit area. I had found a photo online that I liked so he took that photo and together, with his help, my husband and I designed this patio on the side of our backyard where the old deck and gazebo were. It was so much unused space but it is gorgeous now! Adrian's design maximized the entertaining space, even with a "chillout" area that he called it! His crew put the "channels" in it that we wanted, and we will fill it with decorative stone or crushed granite. He has it designed so that the firepit will be tied into the natural gas line just perfectly. We hope to get the firepit soon but even now it is prefect for entertaining and relaxing! Our new kitchen and patios are absolutely fabulous! Adrian's team worked so hard and efficiently to get everything accomplished for us in a very very reasonable amount of time. I just love walking into my new kitchen ... And my husband is benefitting from getting more home-cooked meals too! It looks amazing out in the backyard thanks to Adrian's knowledge and leadership. It's the way we have always dreamed of having our backyard and his patios are already the envy of our friends!! Adrian takes pride in his work, along with all of his team members as well ... and it shows. We feel as if they were part of our family and trusted them as such. I am not exactly an early riser, so I would leave the back door unlocked for them to enter and when I wasn't home, Adrian would take the initiative to lock up our house securely. Part of my driveway was sloped incorrectly and I was having an issue with water seeping underneath my pier and beam house. I contacted Adrian by phone and he gave me a quick estimate for the work. He told me that he'd meet me at my house at 8 am the next day and he arrived a little early. We went over all the details of what needed to be done and assured me it would be no problem. We arranged for the work to begin within the next couple of days and everything went as scheduled. The driveway looks great with a nice grade away from the house. The steel gate post was reset in the concrete. Adrian was very prompt and responsive to my questions throughout the job and answered my calls in the evening. He was around to supervise for most of the work. His crew were very courteous and professional. Thanks.

They did a good job. I had asked for a receipt and any warranty information, but I've received nothing so far.

Another thing that seemed odd to me was that he had me make my check out to him personally, rather than MAZ contractor services.

All in all - everything went very well. Adrian was very responsive and prompt. He always responded to my text messages and emails. He went above and beyond for us. Will def be using his services next time!

We need to expand our narrow driveway.  Adrian worked well from the beginning. He has great communication and helped us lower cost. he was very helpful and addressed my concerns even after the project was completed. Great to work with! Definitely recommend!

We had a cracked concrete slab that we wanted to have a patio cover built on top of it. After Adrian walks thru with us, he recommends us to break it apart and pour a new concrete slab which makes sense to us because the existing slab was poorly poured without rebars and had several cracks. Adrian then provides a quote next morning and set us a schedule for the work.
We have another contractor that Adrian suggests to build us a patio cover. Adrian works out a schedule with another contractor to make sure both projects can be done correctly at earliest convenient time.
My wife changes her mind to have more concrete work done by Adrian by asking for another quote for another concrete slab and a walkway. Adrian walks us thru again, gives us some suggestions for walkway dimensions due to drainage. Adrian also goes an extra mile to please us with a better quote and promises to have all concrete work done in 2 days.
Adrian's crews are really professional, friendly, and truly hard workers. They come prepared as scheduled time,answer all questions we have work till they finish and clean up very well before they leave. We cannot be happier with the final result of our slabs and walkway and properly call Adrian again for another quote for our fish pond concrete footing.

Adrian did a fantastic job. He provided estimate spent many hours tracking the materials needed to complete job. I would recommend his company services as they were very professional and kept me in the loop on progress all the time.

I contacted Adrian around discussing design options and an estimate for a patio and deck addition.  He was responsive and came to my home twice to discuss and refine scope, approach, design and provide an estimate.  I felt he was very friendly, professional and came across as being patient and easy to work with. 
Initially I had only a vague idea of what I needed done and was uncertain around the specifics of what was both possible and practical within my budget, the existing house structure, outdoor space available to work with, etc.  Adrian was great around providing me some refined direction and a clear vision of what was appropriate.  He also shared an example of something similar he had done recently.
I unfortunately was unable to contract with Adrian as I decided to go with a different porch structure type that was not within his area of specialization but his help was nonetheless of value and very much appreciated.

A few months ago Adrian did a project for my back yard. I was very happy with his service so I decided to call Adrian again and this time to pour concrete for my patio.  Adrian is very professional, answered and replied to his text messages promptly. His crew was on time each day to start the work. They were efficient, completed the project quickly and cleaned up the area after themselves. My patio concrete looks great. Overall I am very happy with his service. I will definitely call Adrian again for future projects.
