Mastic Masters

Excellent service, on time, and very reasonably priced. We recently purchased a home with a 20-year-old driveway, and the joints have seen better days. I was looking for a solution that would prevent water and weeds from getting into the joints and would improve the look and finish of my driveway. After extensive research, I chose Mastic Masters, and I am delighted that I did. They texted me with my appointment, showed up on time, and finished the job quickly and professionally. The best part of all, I was able to pay my invoice online, which made my life easy. I highly recommend Mastic Masters if you are considering doing any concrete or driveway work to your home or business.

Extremely well. To get to my pool you must come through my home as the pool is in a central courtyard. They were extremely careful and neat and the deck looks fabulous.

The estimate was done by David and he was prompt on his time. The workers showed up on time, introduced themselves, then started work. They were fast, clean, and explained what they were doing. Quick and awesome job.

Crew showed up the next day as scheduled and flawlessly performed the task. Driveway is a slate gray stamped concrete and the sealant matched perfectly!

I am extremely happy with the service I received from Mastic Masters from the initial contact on Angie's list to the completion and payment of the services performed. The company was responsive to my emails and phone calls and punctual on their schedule times to visit my home. I will use them again if needed in the future.

It was great. From the very first interaction I had with them, they were punctual, always calling/showing up when they said they would. They did great work with no hassle.

Great. Ralph came promptly to give an estimate, Dave came up with an alternative way to handle the problem that cost substantially less than cutting out and relaying an entire section of concrete, and Joe and his crew did a great job working late to make sure it was done right. Joe did have to postpone the original visit when the custom-built thresholds turned out to be the wrong width, and there were some communication delays, but all in all it was a positive experience. I'm very happy and would hire them again.

A follow-up phone call was needed to receive the initial quote. (They did say they were experiencing computer problems around that time.) The day we were scheduled to have the work done, the crew arrived two hours later than we were originally advised. However, the work was completed efficiently and professionally. We may have to call them back to fill in a few low areas that appeared the next day, but with a two year warranty, I don't anticipate a problem. The low areas are barely noticeable and may not even require re-treatment. Everyone we dealt with was courteous. We really like our "new look".

Everything went as planned! No problems at all! Joe the foreman met with me 2 times just to go over the details! Day of the project he was in charge of the whole crew, he even took pictures of everything step by step. Dave the manager organized everything and was able to give me a detailed quote (excellent price) with a breakdown of everything. If your looking for concrete work look no further! Everyone at Mastic Masters is nice, professional, and honest!

It was an extremely hot day; the tech showed up very late in the day; but did a decent job; there were a few areas that we not done correctly, a bit messy. I had not paid at this point, I called them back - he came back a few days later and totally corrected the area's, he apologized and said it was so late in the day and it was so hot-- probably 95 degrees. Overall - it was a good job. I appreciated the response in coming back to fix -- we did not have to pay until we were satisfied

The arrived on time.  They were very professional.  They did a fabulous job.  They were replacing my neighbors expansion joints and came over to make sure that mine were still sealed correctly.  There two small areas that they resealed!  
I would definitely recommend them.  My driveway and sidewalks don't get the weeds any more.

The work was done on a time basis, but they sloppily applied a bonding agent that stained my pool coping and brick.  They claimed they would remove the staining.  Visits were scheduled but no honored.  On two occasions, people showed up to remove the stains, but they were not at all successful.  They suggested I paint my pool coping.  I told them it paint on pool coping would look terrible.  That's the last I heard from them.  I turned it over to my attorneys to sort out.  I refused to pay them.

Mastic Masters removed the existing expansion joint material, ground the edges of the concrete to insure good adhesion, and installed foam backing and polyurethane self leveling sealant.

The crew was very professional.  They arrived when they said they would, they did a great job.  My driveway and front walk look great.  Best of all I no longer have to worry about soil building up in the cracks and weeds growing in my driveway.  Expansion joint sealant is not a glamorous home upgrade, but a good investment in protecting lots of $$$ in concrete.

Great other than some rain delays.

I took photos of it and sent to them.   Told them I was not happy the way it turned out and they should have proceeded with staining first and than apply sealer.

Did not hear from them for like 3 weeks.  Finally they called me about payment and said they did not receive photos - would come out and take a look at it next week.  No one came or contacted me.   This week they called about their payment.

Said it was my fault I should have had it stripped, stained and than sealed for approx. $2000.  I stated they had agreed there was no sealer to strip off and no need to restain it would look good by just apply the sealer.   In my conversation he was very rude and put blame on me that I had option and yelled at me saying "Well just don't pay" and hung up on me before I could even respond.

I plan to report them to the BBB.    I have always paid for all repairs, etc and have outstanding credit.  This company is very Unprofessional!!!!

The technicians were very courteous and kind.  The team was well prepared and knowledgeable of their craft.  The workers took great care in removal of the old wood expansion joints.  Once the wooden pieces were removed, the team spent much time preparing the surfaces of the concrete so that the mastic would adhere properly.  I was impressed with how closely each joint was examined and prepared.  Once prepared, several layers of foam and mastic were applied.  Overall, a good experience and quality job!

They did an excellent job.  Work was performed without delay, good cleanup, and 2 years later everything is still great.

Due to a misunderstanding, they initially skipped doing the joint between my drive and the street--because that joint is actually the responsibility of the city, not me.  Duh--I didn't know that.  But their completed work was so good that I asked them to return and do that joint fill at my expense.  They responded promptly and efficiently.  Best I can tell, they've got my 50-year old driveway in great shape.
