EVERYONE INVOLVED FROM CONTACTING KEN BOWMAN WHO SENT US A QUOTE TO THE INSTALLERS WERE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN DONE, EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAONRY & GLASS SYSTEMS TO ANYONE WANTING A GLASS BLOCK WINDOW.

Contacted Masonry & Glass via email. Ken responded next day as it was after hours when I emailed. He emailed a quote which I thought was a little high, but after he explained why and a little more research on my part I found him to be in the ballpark of everyone else. I scheduled a time for him to come out and show him what we wanted and what he had to offer. He waery patient with me and my girl friend. We made our decision and set a date for install. He had an earlier date come up but it would not work with our schedule so we kept the original date. It was supposed to rain the day of install but my area of install was covered so we went ahead with it. The installer was profesional but moved a little slow but deliberate. The scattered showers appeared out of nowhere but he managed to keep the mortor dry and everything came out nice. He cleaned up nicely inside and out. The rain cost him about 2 extra hours but what a great looking window. I will highly recommend M&G to anyone wanting glass block.

Ken & his crew were a joy to work with. Unlike my first experience with another vendor from Angie's List, everything went perfect on this job. Ken was able to give me a fast quote via email once I gave him the dimensions of the two windows. He came out a couple of days later to verify the dimensions & take a look at the shower enclosure I was thinking about converting to glass blocks as well. Due to the lack of space, it was determined that converting the shower enclosure to anything other than a square corner (I wanted a curved corner) would not be possible without doing major remodeling of the bathroom. Ken told me that the first day he could get someone out was 4 weeks (1st week of December) away. I explained my desire to have the work done quicker. He said he periodically had customers ask to push their jobs out due to project delays & would see if he could squeeze me in sooner. I agreed & two days later he called me with an opening the next day to find out if I wanted it. I agreed & the installer came out at 8:00am the next morning as agreed to. He went to work immediately & worked non-stop until the job was done. He didn't even stop for lunch. He cleaned up everything (even a couple of messes he didn't make) & left about 3:30 to 4:00. He was very courteous & professional the whole time. The new windows are very nice & look fantastic. They let in an incredible amount of light, but completely block any prying eyes from looking in. I will use Ken again in the future & I'm already planning to replace the glass on each side of the front door with glass blocks

They were great and the service was fine.  They did what they said they were going to do and they were on time.  They were neat, professional and polite.  I will definitely use them again in the future.

I called the company, asked them what they needed to get started, provided some measurements, and they came by and did an estimate, then returned at the agreed upon time to perfom the installation.

They did an excellent job! Ken, General Manager, was very helpful and answered many questions for me about glass block since I had no experience with it before. Ken was pleasant to communicate with...very considerate, specific and straightforward. I called three other companies and Masonry & Glass Systems' estimate was the lowest by far. I believe they are considered "the experts" in Houston for glass block after discussing glass block with two window companies. The two window-installation companies did not install glass block, but they BOTH referred me to Masonry & Glass Systems so I knew they must be the go-to company for glass block. Larry installed our window. He was professional, friendly and meticulous in the installation. He didn't mind if I watched him while he worked. He was also extremely careful and considerate of our home and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. His work is very impressive. You can tell he takes pride in a job well-done. The window looks beautiful and we would definitely use them again! Smooth experience every step of the way.

Trini Ortiz, the sales rep, called about 30 minutes before the appointment, to give me time to leave work. He was prompt, and gave us an estimate for the Delphi glass block. We already knew what we wanted because we had glass block in our previous house. We accepted his bid and two days later, we were called to schedule the job. The two workers showed up on time, and completed the job in about 4-1/2 hours. We had to be gone most of the time, and returned home just as they were finishing up. They removed the glass, and left everything clean. We are very happy with the job.

The representative who came out at our request to do the measurements and show us the brick samples was on time and very knowledgeable. We made our decision, and gave him a check for $400, balance due upon completion of the job. The expert workman came out the following week. He was friendly, polite, and completely comfortable being watched while he worked. He had over twenty years experience, and it showed every step of the way. The glass bricks were perfectly laid, and very carefully cleaned to be sure the windows looked great before he left. His helper arrived about half way through, and assisted with the rest of the job and the cleanup. He arrived at 8:15 AM as agreed, and they were completely through by 2 pm! Based on the job they did and how fantastic both windows look, we are thinking about having them do some additional glass brick work in our home. If we do, we will definitely use them!

Masonry glass is much stronger than ordinary glass. We wanted more security from break ins, so we switched to the stronger material. The job was done very fast. They replaced both windows in less than a full day. The workers were exceedingly polite and made sure the house was left exactly the way they found it. For the added peace of mind, the price was fair.
