He had the most reasonable bid out of a total of ten I received. They were very accommodating and finished on scheduled. They were very nice and just great people. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

I met Martin through my neighbor who couldn't stop raving about him and his team. My neighbor had the exact same build of house as I did and the same leaking issues due to inferior construction from the builder. After giving Martin such a rave review I made the mistake of hiring him. That particular neighbor moved out of their home about a year after Martin completed his work so not sure if they had issues afterwards or not....
Anyway, after the work was completed, I continued to have leaking issues which of course then re-damaged the drywall and paint that was repaired. I called Martin to explain this and he reluctantly came out to "reseal" the house and repair the drywall. This happened about 2 times with each time becoming successively harder to reach Martin and schedule a repair time. I would have to call or text him several times before he would contact me I was surprised that he actually came back out at all. The last time I was able to reach Martin, he came out to look at a window that was persistently leaking and a door that was also leaking. He said he would fix the door, but not the window because it wasn't his problem and was the roof even though I had a brand new roof on the house ( I came to find out later that it was not the roof that was leaking, but a junction box under a light that Martin did not seal properly).
Finally, a year later I had a stucco specialist come out and take a look at the house because all of the original leaking problems have resurfaced. The stucco specialist told me that the house was not sealed properly and that an inferior sealant was used. I would have tried to contact Martin to redo his work, but I honestly don't think he is capable of the work he tried to do. Not to mention the fact that getting him to come would probably be harder than pulling teeth and I can't afford to wait months before he fixes things a I have new tenants moving into the home.
I'm sure Martin is capable of doing certain handyman tasks, but in this scenario I think he got in over his head and said he could competently do something that he wasn't capable of. I'm giving him a "D" instead of an "F" only for the fact that it he could have completely ignored my calls to fix his work - that's gotta be worth something I suppose.....

It was excellent, that's why we used them again for painting later on because they had done such a good job. They were very clean, dry wall was such a messy job and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly.

Have used them in years past for siding on garage and to replace and paint siding on the house. Their price was reasonable and they got the work done as specified and of good quality. I have had no complaints with them.

Martin and his assistant arrived as scheduled. They evaluated and made suggestions concerning the siding repair and replacement of the cedar fence gate. Work was completed in a timely manner. The construction of and replacement of the fence gate was the best we have ever had performed. I will be calling Martin's Paint and Home repair for future work and highly recommend him.

I had used him a few times before that. He office personnel is excellent and very professional. It went very well. He did everything in a timely manner and was very professional. We have a very tight schedule, which he accommodated nicely even coming back out to fix some minor issues that we noticed afterwards. I actually had them out to work on a house in San Antonio because I knew that they would do a great job; I actually housed the crew there for four nights and five days.

I called to make appt with Martin and I was surprised to actually speak to Martin on my initial call. He asked how soon we needed all this work done and he was out the next afternoon. We walked around the house so I could explain what we needed done and then he and his crew started a couple of days later. It took about 3 weeks to actually complete all the work. The roof took most of their time since there were 3 layers of roofing with the last one being wood shingles (ugh). Everything went well except for the noise which was out of their control. My neighbors were very impressed with Martin's work and were asking for his telephone number. I would definately use Martin again and would recommend him to my friends and family. He and his crew were very respectful to us throughout the process. My husband and I are very happy we found Martin. Thank you!

Mr. Martin and his crew show up on time and get the job done in timely maner. The crew were polite and friendly. The price was very reasonable.

Martin Zavala responded within one hour to my phone call. An appointment was made to view and the damage for the next day; whereby a price was quoted and agreed upon. The work commenced at the prescribed time. The quality of the repairs and painting was excellent and completed within the estimated time frame and price.

Martin was prompt to answer the phone and told me that he could call me back later in the day to set-up a time for a quote. He came out the next day for the quote and the work started as soon as he was finished with his prior job. I am very pleased with the quality of my fence and the painting, and I plan to use Martin again in the future.

Martins Paint and Home Repair came very highly recommended by my neighbors. I used them to put top quality hardy plank siding on my two-story house, and we are very pleased with their work. It took about three days, but there were a few things they had to fix up along the way for us. The house looks very nice. The men were very efficient in getting the siding on our house, and we have recommended them to other neighbors also.
