It went great! They originally installed them 11 years ago. I would highly recommend them to others.

I use them for almost every job, last week and they are coming out next week to do another job.

They arrived on time and performed the camera inspection and pipe location per their quote. The results and recommendations were clear and they very professional.

My builder, Shawn Regan, sub-contracted this work to finally complete a and quot;punch list,and quot; over a year after closing. But that is a different story.
The initial estimate was to have someone present at the home for 3-4 hrs to complete the project. The plumber's assistant showed up on time to do diggin; however, the plumber showed up 2 hrs late (excuse was traffic and to get supplies), and they were not able to complete the project within the original time estimate.
A second visit was scheduled, again requiring me to take time off work to allow acces into the home for the work, now estimated to take 2 hrs. Again, the plumber showed up late, citing need to stop for supplies. It took an additional 7 hrs to complete the project.
I had stressed that the project needed to be completed, and am glad that he put the extra effort into completing the installation that night (finished after 9pm). The connection outside the house originally extended over a foot beyond the walls, and I told him that this was not acceptable as a risk for someone to run into it and hurt themselves or damage the connection, and he was able to shorten it. So I do appreciate his receptiveness to my needs.
However his punctuality and ability to properly assess the needs for the project leave much to be desired.
The builder is responsible for payment for this project. I do not know if it was arranged as a fixed sum for the job, or if it was to be based upon an hourly rate (and I hate to imagine what the overtime charge would have been for working into the night!)

Mammoth first came out and gave an estimate that was very reasonable and then did the work exactly according to that estimate. We were worried about our huge oak tree and did not want the roots cut near the tree (which another company had said would have to be done). Mammoth found a way to go around the tree and still provide proper drainage. Mammoth finished the work in just one day with minimum damage to our landscaping. (They dug the trench by hand.) The finished job cost about half as much as another company had estimated, and Mammoth guaranteed the work for 10 years. We were very happy with the service provided by Mammoth Plumbing and would recommend them especially if you are having serious drainage problems.

I needed someone to come immediately to help me solve my water leak problem because I was leaving the next day for Miami! I initially called a local plumber who came and just stood and looked at it and said, "I have no way of locating the leak- you're going to have to get a leak detector." then he left. I was panicked and called leak detectors I found in the yellow pages but of course none could come right away. A friend then suggested that I contact Mammoth Plumbing in Katy. In fact, my friend contacted them for me as a favor, and they called me immediately and scheduled someone to come out. The next morning the plumber from Mammoth Plumbing came out to my home in Pearland. dug in the dirt a little, immediately found the leak and repaired it within 30 minutes. I was so relieved and grateful- and I made my 4 PM flight to Miami! I will definitely use their services again!
