MAID BRIGADE

Hired this company based on a friends recommendation for "Move-out" cleaning. I'm extremely busy, a widow, full time "+" teleworking and trying to get my older home on the market, post moving to a newer home. I was charged $803 dollars for about 7 hours "maybe" of cleaning. I was quoted $312.50 + $50/hr for any time extra after about 4 hours. The service called me at 1:00, they were finished. The pictures I immediately sent the owner after driving across town to meet the crew indicate otherwise. The crew went to lunch, returned around 2, called me at 4:30 to tell me they were done. My calculations indicate they should have only charged me $462.50. I still had to clean up after this crew. Disappointed and ripped off. I do not recommend this business, the owner won't acknowledge my texts.

Maid Brigade does an excellent good job but they are more expensive than self-employed immigrant housekeepers. The main reason I use this service is because I want the people who work in my house to be insured and bonded. 
Bonus points:  
(1)  The Maids bring their own equipment and supplies.
(2)  If I have complaints or special requests I just leave a message with the office and it's taken care of.
(3)  They don't break things.
(4)  They don't slack off.
(4)  It's annonymous. I don't know who the maids are and I don't care. I don't have to make them my friend so they'll do a good job and not rob me. There's no inequality guilt. The Maids come when I'm not home, do the dirty work, and leave before I'm back.

I have been most impressed with their customer service. There has never been a bad cleaning in my several months with them but I did have a few requests and a crew preference. They have always been responsive to my requests and even went out of their way one time in particular.  I inquired if I could be first on my cleaning day. They called the person who was first and asked for the switch, done! That is customer service! They will call or email after my cleanings to check up on me after I made specific requests. The reminders are good. The intro specials are good, check their website. They also give you coupons for use later. My suggestion is that you make it known if you have any "eh" thoughts (even if they are picky) and they will address it with their crew. If you are getting different crews, request the one you like.

They come every Friday to provide general housecleaning for me.  They are OK.  Sometimes they don't do a very good job for the money I am paying, but they always correct what I tell them too.  Still, I would not reccommend them to anyone else.  If I could find anyone to replace them, I would.

Every visit there were issues. Simple things like not wiping down kitchen counter tops, not cleaning the toilet seats, not locking the garage door, not cleaning the bathtub, not cleaning very noticeable smudges on mirrors, etc. I don't have time to list all the issues. I gave them chance after chance to improve. When I would complain they would change crews, but there would still be problems. When they sent their Supervisor out with a crew, a lot more things were ignored than when the crews were alone.
The final issue ended up being my new tile floors in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. They would leave very obvious mop streaks and water spots on the kitchen floor. In the Master Bath they would leave the floor sticky. I complained and nothing would change. The last time they cleaned, they had sent the Supervisor out and the floors were worse. The kitchen floor not only had the streaks and water spots, but also had muddy footprints from someone's sneakers and the master bath toilet was not cleaned.
The last time I complained, the owner fired me as a customer. This was good because I gave them more chances than I ever should have and this forced me to take time out of my busy schedule to find someone new who comes very highly rated.

It's pretty good. I am satisfied with the job they are doing and they show up on time.

Hired Maid Brigade for a deep clean of a house prior to move in.  Scheduling was quite easy and pricing was transparent.  Team was pleasant and professional.  However, I was told a "deep clean" included vacuuming out drawers and cabinets and a clean of the refrigerator.  Drawer still had the same bug in it that was there prior to cleaning, and fridge shelves were clean but trays inside door still had seeds and grime.

Disappointed. Giving them one more chance. I have a 3,800 square foot house and they only spent 2 hours here cleaning. I have stainless appliances and a glass cooktop that they said they are not "allowed" to clean. I also have wood floors throughout the downstairs and 4 bathrooms - no way to properly clean all that in 2 hours. Haven't had the same crew twice so I am not comfortable leaving them in my house and I have to explain what I want each time. If I have to stay here to supervise, then I will just clean it myself!

I had a problem with the girls coming early since I work nights.  I asked them over and over to come at their scheduled time.  On their last visit, they were waiting on my sheets to dry since I didn't have time to wash them before their early arrival.  The owner of the company called me and said that his girls were not going to wait the extra 15 minutes for my sheets to dry.  I said well it's ok for you to inconvenience, but don't let me inconvenience you.  He yelled at me over the phone and said, "We're done.  You get 2 hours of service for an hour price ($130) and  you're just not worth it." He then hung up on me.  I will never use this company again.

It went very well and I will use them again!

I did not see house after work was done--Our realtor said it looked really nice.

When I first called them to set up the appointment I was very impressed with the professionalism of the person who took my call. She asked specific questions about what needed to be done and gave a list of all the services they provide it for a "make ready". This is exactly what I needed done. And they did it with absolute professionalism. They took only 4 hours because two people came. Everything was perfect!

Maid Brigade, Gulf Fwy location, has been providing excellent green cleaning services for me for more than five years.  I have been able to easily change the services they provide as I have moved and my needs changed.  They bring their own green cleaning products, vacuum, etc. so I do not have to provide anything, which saves me money and time.  They have basics that get cleaned every time, like the ceiling fans which is a huge deal for me.  After that I get to select what extras I want cleaned and how often.  
They also do a full range of deep cleaning services and furniture cleaning that I have used a number of times over the years and have always been very pleased.  These important extras have helped to prolong the life of my furniture, mattresses, floors, countertops, etc. 
Maid Brigade sends an electronic comment card after every cleaning.  I know these comment cards are read immediately as I have been called by the owners if I left a comment indicating that I wanted something done better or a different way.  They have even offered to send out a team to re-clean an area that I wasn't 100% pleased with.  The owners stand behind their product and their employees' work 200%.  And the employee teams that come to your home are simply wonderful.  Nice, professional, hard-working, conscientious -- I just can't say enough good things about them.

This local company, run by owner/manager Jack Calkins, had a key to my home so I did trust the team at one time. That changed. In hindsight, I would not recommend this service because of some problems that I discovered later, after I had complained about the quality of a job and the owner said the crew wouldn't do anything as "payback" to my house or property. I no longer allow anyone that I do not know very well in my home unsupervised.

It was awesome coming home to a clean house with that lovely clean smell.  I left the key under the door after talking with them over the phone.  I had a coupon they honored and am glad I used it.  I herniated a disc in February and kept re-injuring myself while doing housework.  I wish I could afford to have these ladies come every week.

See above. Everything went very well. I am very pleased with the work the two women did. A manager came by to see how things were going and she helped out a little bit.

I want to update my review that maid brigade came out again for floors, bathrooms and kitchen.  Did a great job.  Did not need everything like I did at first cleaning.  The cost was $80.  I would hire them again.

I have been using this cleaning service for approximately 6 months and am overall pleased.  They do a thorough job and if there is something I am not satisfied with the management is very receptive.  There are certain things they consistently don't clean, but that is why I keep reminding them (ie under bed and couch).  There is a supervisor who comes and inspects the work which I like. Although a bit expensive they are reliable and I like that they bring their own cleaning supplies and that there is management that I can discuss things with if need be.

Quality of cleaning and price not the greatest...wont be using again.

Instead they cleaned everything, which was fine, except the main thing I wanted them to do, I wanted them to use a specific machine.  They wanted to use something else.  They didn't get the dog prints off the floor.  From the get go, you can tell they are over-worked.  They have to hurry and get out.  One time they were in such a hurry, one of the cleaners raised the blinds and started dusting.  When she raised and lowered the blinds, she dropped a bunch of picture frames on the ground and broke a candle.  There was glass everywhere.  Another woman came in and immediately knocked over more stuff.  I'm still finding glass to this day.  I just got it to have done for when I'm sick or not feeling the best.  They were supposed to make stuff easier, not harder.  

It was great.  They did a great job on the house.  I was satisfied with the job.  If I hadn’t moved, I would use them again.

Terrible quality.  Too much of a hassle to get the service promised and paid for.
