"We have maintained the member's landscape for eight months, not the nine stated in her letter. They have always been very nice and happy with our work. They first called us because they saw us at their neighbor's house and liked the way we maintained the yard. On the afternoon of Friday, March tenth, she called to say the crew had not finished the trimming. I called his office on Monday the thirteenth and left a message, because she had not left a number to call her back. I never received a return phone call. She called back on the seventeenth again, stating the trimming had not been finished. I drove to the house to inspect the trimming, because she could not explain to me what had not been trimmed. I discovered the Asian Jasmine ground cover has not been trimmed at the sidewalk in an eight inch section. I had the crew go back to the house that day and correct their mistake. The explained to me that they thought the Jasmine was on the neighbor's property. I have attached the member's faxes to me, and you can see why I thought it was in both parties' interests that we terminate the contract. There is no reason why this problem should have escalated to the point of termination, but it did.
