It was very difficult to get them to respond for everything (the estimate, the scheduling, the follow up scheduling, and also to our dissatisfaction). We were adamant about what we DID NOT want and Brian, the sales person, said he understood. I don't know how much clearer we could have been in saying we did not want loose rocks or sand done with the pavers. After this is exactly what they installed, Brian said that it was due to an easement requirement that we could not have anything solid. Our understanding of the easement is that is was a distance issue and I would have been very happy to push the stones back the amount of space required. Despite our willingness to pay even more, we could not get any other answer from Brian other than it will wash away over time. This does not help as then we will just have stones sitting there. In any case, he just would not give us any other ideas or help despite our asking 3 times in email and once on the phone. I used this company 4 years ago with complete satisfaction and clearly they have gone downhill or I was just lucky. They seem to be more interested in payment than doing the work to the customer's satisfaction. I feel I was patient, provided clear communication and when I was dissatisfied, gave them every opportunity to help me to no avail. I urge anyone looking for this type of work to look else where. When you are paying $12k plus, this attitude and lack of understanding is unacceptable. We will be contacting another company to help us with fixing this expensive mistake. Another small issue, but I think also shows the caliber of their capabilities is that the 3 times they ran my credit card, they said it was denied. I had to get the bank on the phone with them to tell them that they were seeing no declines. When the card was run with the bank on the phone, it went through fine. Again, small issue, but another indication. They did do a decent job on the roof top patio cover but I think we would have gotten the same result with another company.

Within a few months the grout on one of the posts began to crack.  We contacted Lonestar, they said they guarantee their work and they would have someone out to fix it.  No one came.  We have contacted them SEVERAL more times, left messages, and no response.  Very frustrating.  The say they guarantee their work, but we can't get a hold of anyone to fix it. And when we have gotten a hold of someone, they tell us that they will take care of it, and then they blow us off.  It's been a year of trying to get them to come out and fix it.  I would NOT recommend them to anyone simply because of their lack of customer service.  We've tried to give them a fair chance in getting back to us before writing a review, but they simply don't care to call us back.
I would be happy to change my review once the company CALLS ME BACK and FIXES the PROBLEM.

Installed a new roof on existing sunroom. Very happy with new roof - even better than expected. Great sales and installation service.

First let me say the concrete guys were great.  They poured me an excellent patio and worked a very hard day in hot conditions.The pergola had to be adjusted, since the sales guy is not involved in the final build.  Charles did a killer job in explaining what was going to be done.  The work did take a little longer than first stated, but that was not all due to them, since I bought 2 ceiling fans that took 3 finally to get all the needed parts.Everyone showed up on time and did their job well.  If I needed more work done, I would certainly give them a call.

Good folks to work with - very professional. When I had an issue with the way the pergola attached to the house was constructed (there was a gap that would allow rain to enter the open ends of the aluminum supports), the owner came out to make sure  he completely understood what I was talking about and addressed the issue to my satisfaction. 

They were excellent. Their pricing was great. They were prompt, and they did quality work. I have absolutely no complaints.

I wanted an aluminum pergola. Found Lone Star using Google. Heath Seachrist arrived a day or two after I called, showed me information and materials, measured, and a couple of days later had a proposal. He prepared and submitted the HOA approval request, and a week after that was done, the pergola was installed. The installation crew was cordial, worked hard in terrible heat, finished the job, including installing 2 ceiling fans I provided, in about 6 hours. The result is highly attractive and a great addition to our home.
