Would recommend to anyone looking for interior painting. Guillermo was quick to respond at every step of the process from estimate to day of work. Communication was straightforward, professional and courteous. Cost of service was very fair, the best quote we got from several companies. In addition to best cost, work was immaculate and quick. We threw in some last minute requests, which they were able to accommodate also at a very reasonable price. Guillermo was very easygoing with every request. He and his team delivered beyond our expectations and we’re keeping lone star painting in mind for future renovations as well.

Guillermo was awesome. I hired him remotely to paint the kitchen cabinets before we moved in. He quoted a very reasonable price and showed up when he said he would even when I wasn’t there. He has excellent communication and sent photos when the job was completed and followed up with me to schedule the cabinet hardware installation that wasn’t available during the initial paint job. He’s a true professional and I highly recommend him.

Guillermo came by and gave me a fantastic quote for the work I requested. Sadly he became very uncommunicative. I drove to a different city in order to source 15 gallons of the paint he specified and then he didn't show up on the date we agreed on. I texted, called, and left a message or two on his voicemail. I texted him days in a row asking if he would be coming and he finally told me he wouldn't be able to make it that week. The next week came and the same exact thing happened, only he finally let me know what I expected- that he was abandoning my project. I offered him more money to complete my project but he didn't respond. His reputation on Angi had me excited about the quality of work for the price, but now Lone Star Painting Co has left me with a bunch of paint in my garage, an impatient HOA, and me having to try to book a painter in the middle of a busy season.

The paint crew worked for four days. They arrived on time each day and worked full days except for lunch. Very satisfied with the work product and a reasonable price. I plan to hire them again to paint the upstairs bedrooms and baths.

I hired Lone Star Painting to paint all of my interior walls on my 2000 square foot home. Guillermo immediately contacted me and we scheduled a meeting to go over the specifics. He arrived on time, listened to what I wanted done, and we arranged for a date to get started that worked for both of us. He was very courteous and professional from the first meeting on and my job went amazingly well. He told me the correct amount of paint to buy-told me it would take a two man crew 2 1/2 days to complete my job and that they would be there from 8-5. They were there every day on time-worked efficiently-were very neat and organized-and always put the room or rooms they had done that day back exactly as they had been even after having to move a lot of furniture out of the way to paint behind them. Unbelievable-wonderful service!!! They actually took 2 3/4 of a day but he didn't charge me any more and actually was kind enough to hang some pictures and a very heavy mirror back on the walls and centered them perfectly without charging me. I can't tell you how much I appreciated this. The paint job was excellent and my house now looks beautiful. I will definitely hire them again for future projects.

Initially, I was impressed with Mr. Lopez professionalism. After quoting the job, we agreed on the start date. He was a "NO SHOW". I TEXTED HIM and he finally responded the next morning (on the date he was scheduled to start) stating he wouldn't be able to make it but will start tomorrow. Well, I took off from work again and finally received a text stating he wouldn't start. Needless to say, I was very disappointed especially after waiting (2) two days and causing me to miss work/money. BUYER BEWARE....This is not someone you want to do business with. I thought by selecting a contractor from Angie List, it would give added security of selecting someone with professional integrity, strong work ethics, and good communication skills. Apparently, I was wrong. Well, at least in regards to this contractor. Please heed this warning and take your business elsewhere. Any business that doesn't bother showing up or communicating before the scheduled date/time does not value the customers. Also, if we (the customer) can provide proof to Angie's list, they should be suspended/removed completely. I feel our time and money is just as precious as theirs.
