LONE STAR GLASS

We were looking for a local glass and mirror company to help us resolve a problem. Virginia was kind enough to arrange for one of her guys to meet with me and take care of our situation. You always hope a local business will treat you like a neighbor. Virginia and Lone Star Glass really stepped up to help us and we appreciated it!!

Couldn't ask for better service both by the craft persons and the office staff. Great service and great price! If I had to go to the RV place for service, it would take at least 2 week and TRIPLE the cost for just ONE window!! Clean and efficient. And they even helped me hook up the trailer to my truck!! Kudos!!

Not sure if this is the same location, but it's the correct company. My issue is not with the installation, which seems to be fine, but with the lack of clean up after the installation was complete. After they left I found several small pieces of glass on the window sill of the second floor window, which I didn't think was too bad, though they should have cleaned it up. What really upset me was the amount of glass I found out side on the patio. I found several large pieces of glass, the size a quarter and many smaller pieces. Considering the how much they charge for the installation you would think they would at least clean up after themselves, but apparently they are not concerned with the safety of their customers (my sons friend actually stepped on one of the pieces and it stuck in his foot.).

The bid was over $500 for a pane of glass. The guy was really cordial and nice, he came when he said he would but just like everything else, money talks, so I called another company and they still haven't come out but they're less than half the price. As far as their professionalism and everything they were fine. The only issue I had was their price.

we had to have the glass in our front entry door repaired same day. We called around and Lone Star was the most accommodating company by far. They gave their price up front, and showed up when they said they would. They did not have the exact glass with them, as I had to guess on the type we had originally. Instead of returning another day they went back got the correct glass and completed the installation that same day. Price was exactly as quoted AND They offered the Angie's list discount. Definitely would use them again.

I called the provider on 1/3/2014 to schedule a contractor to review the broken window. Because I travel for work, I had to wait a week before I could get a contractor to come out and give me an estimate. It took the company another week to call me back with an estimate and to schedule the actual repair. The repair finally occurred on 1/31/2014. It was well done and the contractors were very professional.

They didn't show up for the first appointment. Called them and rescheduled for the following Friday. Showed up on time and did an excellent job.
