LMS Tree Service

Overall it went well. I was surprised on the day of the project to be suddenly asked to pay in cash. That request, especially not made upfront, always makes me a little concerned. Did they not trust me to give them a valid check or was it a tax issue? At any rate, we compromised and I went to the trouble of purchasing a money order. I was originally told everything would be done in a few hours on one day, but on the day of the work, it was split into two days. They worked quickly though and cleared everything. They removed more trees than we'd discussed on day two when I wasn't there to supervise, but it is a lot clearer now. They were pricier than an other bid but came highly-recommended and Luis, the owner(?), was the most thorough in explaining the plan. For general upkeep I might consider another company primarily because of the cost. But I would not hesitate to recommend LMS to others.

They were able to get to us the next day and were on time. Job done as described and cleaned up after themselves.

okay I guess. $275 for about 15 mins work - I feel ripped off

I had some trees that died and were cut down; I called LMS to do the stump grinding. They price matched another bid, came within 35 minutes of the scheduled time and worked efficiently while here. I happily paid them promptly for the service. A week later I noticed a sprinkler pipe or head issue in an area where grinding took place; water was spraying straight up in the air when I turned the sprinklers on. I called Luis at LMS and explained the issue, asking if someone could come take a look. He said LMS is not responsible for anything underground that is damaged due to grinding. No one had previously mentioned that, and when I said this to Luis, he said 'for the price we gave you, we did more than we needed to'. I told him price was negotiated and should not have an impact on quality or customer service, again asking him why no one mentioned LMS would have zero liability if an underground issue occurred (be it gas line, electrical, water pipe or other). He then said '... well now you know' and hung up the phone. For a company whose website mentions being insured for customer and owner protection and 'striving to achieve 100% customer satisfaction', for this customer, on this day, you fell miserably short of your goal. it took all of a few seconds over the phone to completely sour what was otherwise a positive experience.

Everything was great. Luis was very professional and nice and listened to my requests and concerns. He also cared about the tree and wanted to keep it healthy and looking beautiful. The price was reasonable. The crew knew what they were doing and made sure I was happy with the result. They cleaned everything up and the tree looks wonderful. I am planning on hiring them again soon to trim the trees in my backyard.

This was the 4th year that I have used this company. Excellent service every year. Of particular importance to me is their professionalism - they have the right equipment and trained personnel to plan the job and do the work (safety is a priority, the staff doing elevated work were harnessed and tied off). Part of the job this year was to remove a 40' palm, about 28" in diameter at the base that was a foot from the house on one side, a foot from the pool deck on the other with delicate landscaping all around. It was remarkable how they dropped the tree with no property damage what so ever. I always like their recommendations on the tree maintenance, the results look great. Will use this company again.

Excellent service and very professional. Luis came to my door. I am initially distrusting of anyone who comes to my door. But after talking with him in less than a minute, I could tell he had a legitimate and bonded business. We were is desperate need of someone to trim our palm trees, but we thought they were too tall for anyone to deal with. We were also worried about having a non-bonded person or company coming to do this job. LMS was very quick and they cleaned up all the mess that was made. I could not have been happier with the service they gave. I have recommended them to my friends. This is a great company.

Luis with LMS Tree Service was great. He gave me an estimate the same day he came out. He put me on the schudule and the work was done within a week. He was very professional. He called me the day before to confirm the appointment time and he arrived 15 minutes early. His crew also did a great job cleaning up.

Mr. Santana came a day or two before to give me a price. He explained exactly what they would be doing. I thought, at the time, that the price was a little high. He was very professional and explained the amount of work they would be doing, as the tree had never been trimmed, so we decided to go with him for the service. He and his workers arrived within the time frame that he stated. There were five or six workers and they all worked as a team to trim out and raise the canopy of our large oak tree. I was called out, with a question of a couple of limbs....I stated that they should 'go'. They had a wood chipper, so as the large branches came down, the limbs were immediately shredded. I was extremely pleased with the work and now understand why the price was $400... By the time the workers left, you could not tell (by my yard) that work had taken place....except for my beautifully trimmed tree! They immaculately cleaned the yard, driveway and street. Mr. Santana came in to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work, before payment was made. I can definitely recommend LMS Tree Service....and will use them again in two years to maintain my tree canopy.

Luis has always done a great job for me. I have had him out for two tree services and he cleans up the trimmings very well. He also takes out the trees and really grinds the stumps to where the yard is useful. I have always called him on a Sunday afternoon and left a message. He calls first thing Monday and we schedule the next day. I will use Luis and his service over and over again.

The representative promptly arrived at our property to give us an estimate. He seemed knowledgable, and performed a full inspection of all the trees on our property. He gave us our estimate which was very good compared to other estimates we had received. When we decided to use them for our job, they were able to schedule the job quickly. The Crew showed up on time, the day of the Job and promptly completed the work. They took a lot of care to not damage our property, and cleaned up the job site before leaving. They removed 1 large tree, and trimmed up several other large trees on our property. We are very pleased with the work, and plan to use them again in the near future.
