Several months ago I went to a lighting store where I purchased a large light fixture, looking for replacement bulbs. I was told the bulbs I needed were longer available. Driving down Fondren I just happened to see LBX Lighting and stopped in to see if they had the bulbs. I met Michael Effekhar and his store was amazing. Michael was very helpful and he had a large supply of the specialty light bulbs I was looking for. In our conversation I told him we had a high chandelier (a 20' ceiling) and asked if he had a crew that could come to the house to clean it. I sent him a picture of the chandelier, he gave me a quote and we set a time to have it cleaned. His crew also hung a medallion for my neighbor above her chandelier which hung from a 20' ceiling as well. From the very initial contact to the completion of the project, Michael responded either by text or by phone very promptly and followed through on everything he promised. His crew was on time, very professional, very thorough and they did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Michael Effekhar, LBX Lighting and his crew for anyone's lighting needs.

The lights are beautiful, and the electricians were very skilled. Michael Eftekhar is a very talented individual - but he does have a punctuality problem. He has lots of great ideas, but he doesn't listen very well. My decorator made it clear that we wanted a very specific light display in the bath. We didn't know what kind of bulbs we needed, but we knew what the final look should be. We expected Michael to take our defined needs and bring the proper bulbs - the decorator specifically instructed him to bring a variey of bulbs with various spreads. He sent the electricians and they did the work, but they didn't bring the proper bulbs. The work was quality work, but with super bright bulbs blasting light all over the room, it completely defeated the purpose of spending $3500 for accent lighting. Second visit, the electricians came to finish the job and STILL didn't bring the right bulbs. I had to go find and install the bulbs myself. I like Michael, but I won't be hiring him again. I need my contractors to listen to me, meet MY needs, and be on time.
