It was a very pleasant experience. Kiva was very responsive from the minute I walked into their showroom until the project was completed. Their salesperson and installer were knowledgeable and very professional. I received a competitive price on the appliances and the installer actually showed up early. Modifications had to be made to accommodate the new appliances. The installer left my house as clean as he found it and everything looked and worked great. Kiva followed up with me immediately after the work was done and again about a month later. I would definitely use them again if I still lived in Houston. I was so happy with the service at Kiva that I will probably use their Austin location when I'm ready to remodel my current kitchen.

Before doing business with kiva my wife and I had two bad adventures trying to buy a 30inch replacement stovetop at other appliance stores. So We were pleasantly surprised at Kiva by their professionalism and straightforward approach in showing us alternatives and pricing. I had already checked on-line for other store prices and delivery and found Kiva's price was very good. I think the Kiva delivery men were actually kiva employees. That was in contrast to other shops that use separate subcontractors, one for delivery and separate ones for installation (sometimes at a later date) Kiva's delivery men came on-time and they were also the installers certified for natural gas installation. They removed our old decrepit stovetop with it's melted plastic knobs. Then the two workmen cut the granite island top to fit new stovetop and vent. They installed everything, tested it, then cleaned up. Viking is a top of the line unit but I think it is well worth it especially when I compare its design, materials and workmanship to lower price units. The same goes for Kiva's salesman and installers - they did a great job and well deserved what we paid them. After a few days It was close to Christmas so I did something I have not done in a long time - I called Jack the Kiva salesman and told him were very happy with the stove and my wife was cooking some great meals with it. She could finally simmer without burning something.

The staff made what could have been a long, drawn out, stressful process most enjoyable in one visit or two.  Delivery and installatiion of everything was punctual and top notch.

I went to several other local showrooms first, but they did not have nearly the showroom inventory that Kiva K&B had. I was able to look at the model refrigerator I wanted, as well as two others on my list all at the same place. The price offered was very competitive, and their delivery fees were reasonable as well. I would definitely buy here again.

Kiva was very helpful in helping us pick out the appliances and styles that would best fit our kitchen. They delivered all items on time and their installation was excellent.

Shopping was quick and efficient with lots of personal attention. The scheduling call came as planned. The delivery was right on time, and they didn't drive me crazy trying to sell me things I didn't want. All in all, an excellent shopping experience.

They did a fine job. My overall experience was very good. The price was fair. They are very professional.

My overall impression of KIVA is that they are a bit on the high end on some pricing. The appliance rep that we had was very unresponsive. However, the plumbing rep we used was great and made fabulous recommendations. Would I use them again? Maybe, for some items.

My decorator and I spent a morning at Kiva selecting cabinet style and color, picked out all appliances as well as kitchen sink.  A couple of days later we went to KIVA's granite provider to see all granite colors and made selection there.  Cabinets were installed  about 6 weeks after initial order by very knowledgeable installers and the appliances arrived shortly thereafter.  I would definitely recommend KIVA and plan on visiting them again for a bathroom remodel.

The price was great; communication and service were excellent.  The installer showed up on time and had the oven installed correctly in a short amount of time with a minimum of mess.  I was prepared for problems as my existing oven was small and in a tight place, but everything went smoothly.  I am very pleased.  Everyone involved was very courteous.

Kiva responded promptly and took extra effort to provide service quickly on a newly installed range. We did not have Kiva install the range, but that did not appear to make any difference to the service. The service man took notes, as the specific connection was certified as having been checked in the warranty papers. He appeared concerned about two issues - the loose connection and as we was taking the range apart he found his recent training was incorrect on how to take the specific model apart. He was not upset, rather he was apologetic because of the extra time it was taking and the loose connection on a new appliance. Both Kiva and the service company were professional. They were appreciative of my patience - because new appliances should not have problems - and were knowledgable. These are well run companies with commitment to customer service I would do business with Kiva and Sebastian again, without hesitation.

I had a lot of problems with the sales rep - the work was not done on the date promised and he did not return my calls. I quit trying to call him and I contacted the work supervisor who was more receptive. The work done at the bar area was fine I guess because it was just a matter of replacing the old countertop and it was an easy job. The work for the vanity area was a complete mess. The counter top was measured wrong so it had to be redone. The facet's handle was broken so a new facet had to be ordered. I was told Kiva would perform all the work and I would not have any other expenses but when they tried to connect the facet I was told I had to call my own plumber to do that. From start to finish the work took about 3 weeks to complete. A friend of mine had the same countertop work done for her entire kitchen by another company and it took only 2 days and half the cost. To this day, one facet handle does not turn correctly but I will replace it later. Also, there is not enough room behind the facet area for me to clean consequently a lot of white mildew collects back there and I have to struggle to clean that area. A true professional would have figured this out before measuring the countertop. I will never use this company again.

It went fine. It was convenient getting everything from one place and dealing with a single business.

They were responsive. They were very knowledgable about the appliances they sell. Their information was accurate. The prices were also very reasonable.

We purchased two dishwashers: a Bosch and a GE for our kitchen. We paid for both in advance (whatever price they asked), and we were assured that the dishwashers would be installed within 5 days. However, after one full week had elapsed, nothing happened. We kept calling them, and they kept giving us the run around. I left at least 10 messages for the manager, but not a single call was returned. My wife and I even called the service person (the guy who was supposed to install it) but kept getting the run around. After 15 days, I went there and asked to speak to the manager who said she was not aware of what was going on. After I explained, she said she would take care of it the next day and call me at my office. Nothing happened. When I went to their store next day, she again did not recall, and I had to relay the entire story to her again. Finally, after 20 days, the work was done. It was an awful experience!!! We would never go there, nor recommend it. This place bills itself as a high end, service oriented store, but their service is third rate.

I believe these individuals are very quick, as well as, being very knowledgeable in their profession. I really liked the fact that they could come on the same day and also get it repaired the same day. They provided us with really good service.

Cost of oven: $649 and installation: $254. Installation included cabinet work to go from double oven to single.

A-ABC Appliance Of Texas did a very good job. I don't have any complaints. They did everything right and worked quickly to get the job done. The price was reasonable. They were polite and professional. I would use them again.

ABC Plumbing was able to come to our home the fastest and took care of our needs right away. The plumber didn't take long to clear out my pipes and didn't make any mess in the process. They were very professional at all times, and we know who to call in the future. They impressed us with the price being very fair, and I am glad we used them.

Our washer was repaired in very quick fashion. ABC arrived the day we called and replaced a part near one of the gaskets, but not the gasket itself. The entire repair job took less than a half hour and the part was relatively inexpensive. The technicians were informative, nice, and helped clean the dirty water off the floor when the job was complete.

Hurricane Katrina knocked a lot of wires down in our neighborhood. There were a lot of service companies getting our power and such restored. We called A-ABC Appliances to come out to rewire some of the wiring that was damaged in our home. They did a fine job and got all our appliances back working again. We have called them in the past, for about nine years now, and my husband is hard to please but is always pleased with their service and hourly charge.
