Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes Repair or Replace
Kintex was assigned by my home warranty company to come out and fix a plumbing issue. My walls were saturated, and my light fixture and mirror fell to the floor. A technician came out twice and told me that it was the AC pan. He cleaned out the drains and said that the problem was fixed. (Again, I remind you that twice he did the same thing) However, after hiring a team to come and remove the wet wall and do mold treatment, it was revealed that there is actually a leak in the pipe. After calling Kintex for the third time to have them to come out and fix the pipe, Dora, the manager, told me that I needed to wait in line behind their other customers, and that they wouldn?t be able to come to fix the problem for five more days. After explaining to her that I was $15,000 in water damage already and the problem needed to be fixed immediately, she said she had to treat me like a new client and I had to wait in line like everyone else. I asked for her superior; she told me she didn?t have 1.

On 07/04/2017 my ceiling collapsed because of a leak in the upstairs bathroom toilet. Kintex came to inspect and asked what happened to one of my walls. I explained I had foundation work. He continued to inspect and then asked me to flush the toilet since that was where the leak was coming from. He eventually said that I had a foundation issue, cracked tiles (which there were none) and also my shower was leaking. I paid $75.00 because he said that he had to go purchase a kit but instead he left the job. I called American Home Shield and stopped my check because he lied and gave me an untrue evaluation. I had another person to inspect my toilet and all that was needed was a replacement the wax seal around the toilet.

It went well, it was a BIG job - whole house, 2 storey. Ike was the plumber - EXCELLENT! - professional, and tidy - would clear up at the end of each day and cover holes at the end of the day (I have Cats) He went above and beyond to do a great job - was there the week. On occassion, a colleague popped in to assist also.

The tech from Kintex came in and without even trying to understand the problem, he prepared and submitted a "part missing" report. I tried to explain him that the part is there but due to corrosion, middle of it got broken and fell into the sink hole. He was not a professional guy trying to diagnose the problem but he was in hurry to leave the house and get my $75 check. I got a phone call from American Home Shield after he left and AHS told me that my claim was denied due to "missing part" based on this technician's report. AHS also told me that, $75 that I paid towards my deductible was used towards Kinetex trip (easiest money that Kinetex can make by ripping out people like that - at least that's how it felt) and I should forget about it. AHS also mentioned that Kinetex could replace my faucet if I pay $275. Guess what I told him?
