This place is the best salon in town - even for men. They are very clean, very professional, skilled, and have a no tipping policy (I didn't even no that existed). It's an Aveda salon, which is great, but it's also very affordable. You can buy all the extra fru-fru or just go for a more budget version. Their stylists are highly qualified - I have been going to Ro now every three weeks for over a year. Their haircuts come with a free hand massage and aroma therapy...and run about $35 - everything included. They have text reminders of upcoming appointments and a percentage discount if you pre-schedule future appointments. It's a 15 minute drive from my house, but it's well worth it for consistently excellent service.

Svetlana does my hair just right -- every time. She does a perfect job, and I ask for her specifically. She's very nice and I enjoy talking with her. I've also gotten an occasional massage here, and the masseuse does a good job.

This was my second time there and it will NOT be my last.

This is a nice day spa. Very clean and soothing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Best part - No Tipping Allowed. This was my second time at Josephine's.. The first time I got a $105 special for mani, pedi and hair. This time I just got pedi and hair blow out for $75. This price is a little more than at the high volume walk in nail shops closer to my house, but worth it, as it is quiet- no blaring TVs, employee chit-chat, or smell of acrylic nails. And I am able to get everything done for a night out in one spot - only at the Eldridge location. I am really impressed at the no tipping, because I am always confused about how much to tip the many different staff who might help throughout the day. This is an Aveda spa, so there are people around offering free aromatherapy oils and lotions. But no pressure to buy products.

It was great. I spent the whole day there and each provider was excellent at the service they were providing. They were well organized - I moved from one service to the next without having to wait but also not was rushed. It was very relaxing and I will definitely go back.

They do a good job cutting my hair. They give you a bonus hand massage while they are washing your hair. You get mimosas if you'd like or home stews or champagne or whatever and they are very good at doing different hair styles.

They're always professional, very helpful, and I've been going there for 2 1/2 years and it's always been positive. I think their price is very fair and they don't want a tip. She probably gave me the best haircut for a long time. I make my appointment 6 weeks in advance, they remind me, very prompt, take care of everything. I don't usually don't have to wait there. They're very professional and they just really know how to make you feel good.

The manicure lasted two weeks, and the pedicure was amazing as well.

I arrived on time there at 12:45 PM and did not have to wait long. I changed and went in the room to get my facial treatment. I was disappointed with the treatment since I did not get the facial massage like I have expected. Instead, I just have to wait there so they can put on one chemical after another. The total facial massage was less than 10 minutes out of 30 minutes and it was rough not gentle like the other facial massage that I got from the other places. For the eye treatment, they shorten my time from 30 minutes to 15 minutes and the total massage maybe was less than 5 minutes and it was one time with an electric massager around my eye area which was normally treated with very gentle massages.
When I paid and asked the lady at the counter about the total time that I was entitled to, she told me the eye treatment was 15 minutes and not 30 minutes which is posted on their website.
I thought that according to Angie's list, Josephine's day spa is a good place to go but it is not. So, I would not recommend anybody to go there. It was a total ripped off and disappointment.

I had my eyebrows tattooed on permanently. I absolutely love them, it was the best thing I have ever done. Maylynn was who did the work. I would do it all over again. She did a great job. This day spa is so beautiful, smells unbelievable, everyone is so friendly, and Maylynn was very patient with me during the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The hair stylists at Josephines are talented and listen to what customers want. I go to Josephines regularly and have always been happy with the results. It is an Aveda salon, so if you like Aveda products, this is a great place to go. Staff are friendly. It is a busy salon, so it is important to book appointments in advance if you prefer particular times/days.

Amazing. We were taken care of and pampered from beginning to end. My massage was wonderful, and my husband's entire experience was great. We love the spa's no gratuity policy as well. We love Aveda Concept Salons, and this one exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go back

I called for a last minute appointment at the Pearland location. I was able to get in for a haircut with Jamie. I got in right on time. Jamie listened to exactly what I wanted. During my haircut, I felt that she needed to cut my hair a little shorter, communicated that with her and she did so. Overall, a very good experience.

Their services is always fabulous.

I scheduled a haircut quickly and easily through their website. On the day of the appointment I explained to my hairdresser what I wanted to have done (just a simple trim). Instead, she started arguing with me about my hair style and effectively cut it the way she wanted to see it cut. I was not a happy camper considering I am getting married at the end of the year.
My hair has grown out a bit and is okay now. But the point is that the stylist absolutely refused to listen to me.

When I arrive at my appointment, I am greeted immediately. Within a few short minutes, I am taken to have my hair washed. The first step is to apply essential oils to my hands to rub together and breathe in. This is very relaxing. Then, my hair is washed. Next, they wrap a hot, steamy towel around my head for a few minutes. During this time, someone gives a hand massage with lotion. It is a great start and very relaxing. Then, I go to my stylist for a cut and blow dry. Svetlana is an excellent stylist. I can always count on a perfect haircut.
I've been to the salon at least 4 times and each time have a positive experience. When I book for several appointments in advance, I am given a discount on the cost of my haircut. In addition, they do not accept gratuity.

They are very efficient and friendly. I am always happy with the service. I have tried out most of their services. They are very good. They provider great service at great prices and they offer good packages.

The stylist did a great consultation. She asked what I was looking for and the time I spent styling my hair. When I told her I was thinking of several inches to be cut off, she said she would do it in stages to be sure I was happy with the results. She walked me thought th haircut and made suggestions. I was happy with the results.

Overall, they are the best!

I can say great things about them. They do great work and they have a no-tipping policy. The staff is great. I have no complications with them. I have been going there for so long. I would keep going there in the future too.
