I have *Tried* using them many times over the years. They have a constant habit of not calling back, and even if you do get them, actually getting them to come out it a crap shoot. The times I did get them to come out, when they did the tree trimming, that was done right, but they did not fully remove the stumps I paid for them to grind out. Recently, I called and scheduled someone to come out today. They never showed. I just called them and they said that it never actually got scheduled. I will never use them again. This is probably the third time that I have taken off work and they never showed. I recommend you don't use them either.

We had a tree dying and they came out to see if they could keep it alive, but they didn't. It ended up dying. They were good. They were here one afternoon. They were done in no time. The price was fine. I thought I'd pay a lot more but I didn't. The guys were nice. They were here when they were supposed to be here so we didn't have any problem with them coming. A lot of them just spoke Spanish but otherwise they were fine. I would call them again to do more work for us.

I asked for bids from three companies only to find out that none of them had worker's compensation insurance on their employees. Jones Road not only had full insurance coverage, their price was not that much higher than those without and their work was exemplary. They came on the date promised and removed three trees and trimmed the rest and were out in one day. The person doing the aerial work had proper protective gear and was an artist on landing cut branches and heavy trunk pieces where they needed to go without damaging my garage or the fence they were next to. I wanted to add some additions to the original proposal and had left a message with the person who provided the bid and with the crew that did the original work. I ended up having to call the office to schedule getting the additional work done. Over all, a minor issue that would not keep me from using them again.

It went very well, they cut down trees that I have no idea how it was done. They were great.

Everything was great. The crew took down a large pine tree between my pool and house. They were very safe and even had a tarp to cover the pool so no debris would get in!

The crew was careless, breaking pots, dumping out pots, tearing out struggling plants, breaking my raised garden bed, tossing garden things aside, leaving a big mess on my neighbor's property, and ripping the outside spigot from my house. The crew waited until after the office was closed to notify me of the plumbing damage, but left as quickly as they could before I could discover the additional, smaller damage. They gave me dirty looks when I insisted they move the logs off of the sidewalk, a city right of way. They left one very unqualified man behind to "fix" the plumbing. He made the problem much worse needing an emergency visit after hours from my plumber to get my water turned back on. Then the plumber needed to schedule a time to fix the mess the unqualified crew member made. The company did not remove the debris in a timely manner. In fact, when the stump grinder came the next day, they added big black trash bags to the debris pile left in my front yard. Only once did someone contact me about the problems of the job. After 5 days without debris removal, I called and they asked me to leave it for my Houston trash service to pick up. I reminded them that I would get a ticket, not trash pick up of those items. I was assured that the debris would be picked up that day. It was not. After I called the General Manager on his cell phone, he said that someone would be back out that evening or first thing Saturday morning to take care of it. He also said that he wanted to make it right. I haven't heard a thing back from the company since. The truck did remove the debris Saturday morning and I supervised the entire process, making myself late to an appointment. I have since received an HOA violation which I have forwarded to the company and have had the plumbing fixed. I have forwarded that bill, but have yet to have anyone from the company follow up on whether the debris was picked up or how the damage will be settled. I now have quite a bit of yard work to do to fix the careless minor damage and the dead grass in my front yard from the tardy debris pick up. Needless to say, it has not yet been made right.

Appt went fine for estimate. I paid in advance. Gave me appt for work, about 2 weeks away. Called me the night before & asked to come earlier. I changed my schedule to accommodate him. They did not show up or call. I called numerous times and kept being told they were on their way. Whatever! After a couple of hours of waiting, I finally requested a refund. The clerk hung up on me! What! I got in touch with original sales person & Finally got a refund. Not Dependable. Get someone who really cares about their customers.

I called Jones Road Tree Service on a Wednesday. They came out on Thursday to do the estimate and emailed the quote to me the same day. I wrote back an agreed to the quote and they said they'd call me back once they had me on their schedule. By the following Tuesday I still hadn't heard back so I called them. Again, they said they would look at their schedule call me back. By Thursday I still hadn't heard back from them. When I called this time they said I was on the schedule for the following Tuesday (no one called to tell me). Tuesday comes and its 4 PM and no one has showed up. I called them again and they said that I was on the schedule for Wednesday, not Tuesday. Okay. Now it is Wednesday and I get a call from them again - the truck has broken down and they won't be able to make it today. I tell them to come out first thing on Thursday or the deal is off. They finally came Thursday morning as promised. They did do a great job and the trees look great. They worked quickly, cleaned up, and were out in roughly an hour. It was very frustrating that it took two weeks from the time of quote to the time of service. It was also frustrating that the only time they called me was the day they were supposed to come out. I would say they really need to work on their communication, but their work was great.

They did a fantastic job!  They arrived on time, and did a beautiful job. They totally cleaned up afterwards,  One of my neighbors behind me was so impressed with the effect it had since my one tree was extending into his yard.  The crew was professional and went to that neighbor to gain access to their back yard and cleaned up that yard as well. 

I would highly recommend this company to others,  They quoted a price, stayed with the quote.  The after effect is gorgeous.  Very professional company. 

We had several trees for them to trim. Some of those were Palm trees upwards of 50' in height. They did an excellent job and even protected a possible birds nest we noticed in one of the lower trees. Hauled everything off and the yard and trees look great. Their prices seem competitive and they do professional work. We will use them for all our tree trimming/removing/installing projects in the future.

Lost for words.  I have had other tree people come out and paid a little less, cut a little less and spent way more time.  I am not worried about time.  You know Chuck in a truck.  Jones Road Tree Service, these guys were amazing.  They told me they would be out Thursday.  I asked what time?  They said they didn't know.  Not a problem.  They showed up at 1:00 and were gone by 3:30.  And did these guys cut and haul off some tree limbs.  They also cleaned up after themselves.  There is no sign that they were ever here.  They trimmed 2 very large trees in our front yard and cleaned up a 50 or 60 foot palm tree.  The tree in the back was even bigger.  They cleaned it up nice too.  I wasn't home when they did the cutting.  If I was there I would have asked them to cut a little less.  You know the shock you get when your hippy son joins the Army and gets a buzz cut.  Don't get me wrong the job looks great and was well done.

Crew arrived on Wed. July 15 after the 2 hour window. Supervisor's name was Oscar who was pleasant to work with. Two large ash trees were trimmed and pruned.  Several shrubs were trimmed on 2 sides of the house; a small mulberry tree was cut down (stump was kept) and a corner of the backyard was cleaned out. Very pleased with work and would recommend to others.
