furniture repair
 + -1 moreDo not trust this man. Mr. Schmieg took my furniture and deposit in August 2012. As of today, the furniture has not been returned to me. In September 2012, Mr. Schmieg said he was in California for a family emergency and would return to Texas soon. He assured me the furniture would be done by the end of October. In late October, he assured me I would have the furniture by Thanksgiving. In late November, he refused to give me a completion date. January is the last I heard from him, even though I kept placing calls to him. I confirmed last week he is still leasing the unit where my furniture is supposedly stored. I have filed a legal claim against him.
Description of Work: Picked up 4 items of furniture to be repaired or refinished.

 + -1 moreWe were very pleased with him. He worked with us throughout the process to make sure we had chairs to sit on at home, only taking a few at a time. The chairs have held up very well since he worked on them. He took great care with his work and I would definitely go back to him.
Description of Work: He refinished our 8 dining room chairs and put them back together before we had them reupholstered. He also refinished two antique chairs for us.
