About us
I am an independent, one-man company. I work out of my home with my wife, Joyce, who handles the office and phone. I have been in the plumbing business for 41 years. I started out in plumbing as a new construction helper, and worked my way up to a Journeyman, then to a Licenced, Insured Responsible Master Plumber running my own business. I am experienced in all areas of plumbing. I require payment in full at the time of service by Cash or Check Only (NO CREDIT CARDS). I work Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. After hour rates apply before 8:00am and after 5:00pm Weekdays, and Double Time rates apply on Holidays for Emergencies Only. Usual hourly rates are $85.00/hr. plus material & tax with mandatory first hour which includes 30 minutes drive time to job site for work inside the house, and $95.00/hr. plus material & tax for work outside the house. Rates double for two-men jobs. Different rates apply for sewer, sink, tub and toilet stoppages, depending on whether you have a clean-out and what the job is. Prices can vary according to each job, which is why it is important to CALL OUR OFFICE for a discussion and to set up an appointment. I'm reliable, fair and honest, and will show up when I tell you, unless there are unforeseen delays, at which time I will call and advise you or reschedule. My wife used to use Jeff at her old townhouse (French Village in Spring Branch) for plumbing issues before we were married. This was the first time I had ever met him though. It is very apparent from talking to Jeff that he really loves what he does, and he has a passion for doing things the right way. It's also obvious that he is very honest and fair, and HATES to hear stories about people that are taken advantage of by other plumbers. I will definitely use Jeff again for both my rental and my home.
