Integrity Lead-based Paint Services LLC
About us
We are licensed by the State of Texas for Lead-based Paint and Mold! We are an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead Safe Certified firm which enables us to perform renovation and remodeling activities in homes which may contain lead-based paint. In April of 2010, the EPA began enforcement of the RRP (Renovation, Repair, or Painting) rule covering homes built before 1978. The RRP rule requires Contractors to be certified and to use safe practices to contain the spread of lead dust during activities. We are fully certified and compliant with the new rule. We are also a Texas Lead Firm employing Lead Inspectors, Lead Risk Assessors, and Lead Abatement Supervisors. If you are concerned about potential lead hazards in your home, we can perform a Lead Inspection, Lead Risk Assessment, and/or Lead Clearance Testing. We are licensed to perform Commercial and Residential Lead Abatement. Additionally, we can perform Mold Assessments and Mold Remediation. If you are concerned about potential Mold hazards in your home, or need a Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (CMDR), please call us for details. Anyhow, Steve came out to perform a lead inspection. He was on time, friendly and very very informative. He went through the entire house with his lead gun device and took a reading from every surface. He answered multiple questions along the way and took extra time to ease my anxieties. This was a very very time consuming inspection, but I say that in a good way. We wanted thorough, we wanted peace of mind and we wanted to be informed which was exactly what we got. If I remember correctly he was here about four hours, well after dark, and made sure the entire job was complete before he left. Within a couple days we received a full report by email detailing every surface tested (he also shared this information while doing the process). I don't think I have ever had someone do work of this nature that I felt had this much integrity. He was honest and definitely knew what he was talking about.
When Steve left I felt completely confident about the knowledge I had pertaining to lead in our home. I knew how to maintain surfaces to keep things safe and what steps would need to be done if remodeling was done in the future. My husband and I even remarked that we wanted to remodel something just so that we could hire Steve to do more work for us. I know this sounds like an embellishment but its the truth. When all other sources were lacking real knowledge and information Steve made us feel like we finally had the information to make informed decisions about our home and keep our family safe.
