Description of Work: I paid a pretty hefty price for a complete roof; or so I think. I did not price the job out as the company had done a 25 year roof 20 years ago. That roof was worn out and had served my good. The new roof was $12,000 or so. I felt it was high. A coupon came out on Angie's List for almost the same roof and materials for about $5,000. So I am thinking the job should have been around $9000. Just thinking as I don't know. I don't mind paying more if I am taken care of or shown the value. I didn't see either. I will say that the roof does look fantastic. My main beef is I had a basket ball goal on the roof. I asked if I should remove it. They said they can get get. Well if a fat guy (myself) can put it up without damaging the gutters why can't a work crew bring it down the same? My brand new gutters are all messed up. They regrettably offered to fix them, I turned down the offer. I wasn't sure what corners they would cut next. A semi-secured beam from my atrium fell 20 feet into my hot tub for some reason while doing the roof. They have been up 30 years. When I asked if they could put it back up, I had to plead to get that done. Took them less then 5 minutes. Seems that they (I) bought way too much materials. They could not haul all the extras off that day. They came back the next day and took what they could. I should have keep a square of shingles. I put the rest of the materials in the garage for 2 months. I finally cut up all the aluminum for scrap. I had to cut up and dispose of the pallets. Next I had to pick up a lot of trash. There was trash and debris in the trees! Last I have a patio roof that covers part of my main roof. They had to pull the plywood off the patio roof because it was rotted. With that patio roof uncovered why did they not put new shingles on the main roof under the patio roof? I explained that, that roof was designed to blow off in a hurricane. Well if it ever does I have old shingles under it waiting to fail.

Description of Work: A new roof was installed after the insurance company approved replacing because of hail damage. They did most of the work on the 3rd and finished up on the 4th.

Description of Work: A person showed up to give me a quote of $350 then I never heard from anyone. I called a week later to see what was next and I was told someone would contact me. A day later a roofer called and ask what the job was and said the person who gave the quote " doesn't know what the job I tails, it will be more than that". I never called back. And this is who Tom Tynan promotes?

Description of Work: Repaired roof deck by installing commercial grade water tight membrane.
